Thinking about what it would be like if everywhere in the world you can use crypto coins to pay for your expenses.. How many coins would exist 10 to 20 years from now.. Or would it even make it that far with still lots of places currently not even allowed to use cryptos and some major well known ompanies are still very skeptical about cyptos future.. I personally wish that crypto would be used globally.. replacing paper money and cheap coins thay cost more to create than its actual value.. to be your own bank rather than dealing with greedy corporation owned banks that always try to find ways in taking peoples money with numerous fees.. when you have to pay to have them use your money to make money.. skem.. lol Where do you think crypto coins will be 10 to 20 years from now? What do you wish for cryptos future and place in the worls? Thanks in advance.. cheers!
bmg Posted March 20, 2019 #2 Posted March 20, 2019 So far as I see it crypto is making its way up the chain of world wide currency and I do believe that in 20 years fron now more than half the world will replace there current currency with crypto currency. But only time will tell.

Indeed it is widely used now in the online business world because many companies and many MNC's are trying to accept it as a payment but due to price irregularity they sadly can't and we don't want bitcoin to stabilize so it's a very hard sacrificial choice for the two groups. If it were you which would accept Bitcoin stabilize so companies accept it or Bitcoin rises ?
boaler Posted March 21, 2019 #4 Posted March 21, 2019 i am not really sure, if crypto will replace 'fiat' . But many coins will come and go before we have solid safe coins for real life. But we are just at the beginning. We try to heal the world and safe energy. But we burn massive energy for mining and internet in general. If we can do that with clean power, it will be amazing.

I personally feel it will exist alongside fiat as a mode of payment, since they have a specific use-case (privacy, public ledger) for the people that actually need such features. For the grand majority of people though, decentralisation would actually be bad for normal uses (paying for your food/shopping) as many do not require these trustless features. Having more control and decentralisation leads to slower speeds;a trade off that your average joe is not willing to compromise on! 😱

Perhaps, several tech and cyber-security companies have added the feature of secure payments via bitcoins. I recently had to buy VPN (https://www.ivacy.com/buy-vpn/) from Ivacy (A VPN Firm) that accepts payments in Bitcoin and other secure mode of payments as well and it kinda made me do the purchase with 100% trust and peace of mind. Let's hope that one day we will be having the same choice of payment on giant shopping sites like amazon, Ali express, etc.

But only time will tell. it may happen sooner than that.. more and more major sites have been working or already have crypto coins as form of currency available for transactions.. even casinos are starting to accept crypto (mostly the major ones) deposits as well.. facebook, amazon, twitch (although i read on one of thr post that they may or have already pulled its availability) are just few examples of major sites that could will bring crypto in a more broad audience.. get rid of banks, crypto is the future! lol

Northy Posted April 26, 2019 #11 Posted April 26, 2019 Today's cryptocurrency is only the first step. I think cryptocurrency still survive several cycles of rebirth. Asian countries are already quite ready for the fact that the crypt can become the leading currency in the world.
