I was just wondering if anyone can think of variations for diamond poker, obviously the maths would have to work right and cant be anything ridiculous as in payout wise and win-chance wise..

but i was wondering if its possible to add a medium/easy/hard + classic version of this game..

perhaps something like,

2Pair or Better version, meaning if the user cannot win unless they have a minimum of a 2pair, anything lower will lose, but if they get equal as the dealer its a push, money back, and if they end up winning the dealer with minimum user having 2pair, then they win idk 4x their bet or something. Idk what the right maths would be, but i think you get my idea.

any other variations you guys can think of im just wondering that may be possible for the boring old diamondpoker?

What did you even ask about lol ? I can't seriously understand your question. Diamond poker can't have an easy med option since its according to the cards.

o.O .. any changes would be nice, as it is right now.. diamond poker is really not that great of a game.. no excitement, payout too low.. its just plain and simple in my opinion... mostly for players who likes going all in for quick profit, or quick bust,. hahaha.. i dont know anyone who plays it in a normal slow pace fashion.. i tried, and died of boredom.. lol xD higher payouts and different risk setting may revive this game,,  maybe.. xD

Thats a great idea Shaniqua.   Kind of how keno is? I lime that idea for diamond poker.

It could really use a different payout for different wins.

You mean make the payouts same like video poker depending on the risk? I think no, because hitting a pair/two pair/trio isn't hard in diamond poker. Because we only have few colors in diamond poker unlike in video poker where there are 13 different kinds of cards, so getting a pair/two pair/trio isn't that easy on video poker.

its all about the maths and probabilities...

think about it.... for example if the win amount was reduced when you "win" the dealer... so in a normal game if you had won it would give you 2x right? so imagine if it instead gave you 1.9x instead of the 2x... then also if you win the game with a four of kind instead of it giving you 2x it would give you 10x or somthing like that. and etc with all the other kinds of hands...
the maths on that is obviously just an example of how it owuld or could be. not the exact maths. idk how it would be calced anyway, im sure there is a formula tho.

so yeah make more sense now?

Diamond poker has to go.. if a 2 pair is 2x and a full house 1.5x is meaningless... don't say is a house edge...thats plain stupid... through out whole game is 2x doesnt manner what hand u have.. u can only double up.. but if u get a full house..1.5x...the house edge..that doesnt make sense at all..4 of a kind 2x 5 of a kind 2x..3 also 2x..pair and 2 pairs still gets more then a full house..if diamond poker had the setting like the video poker payouts..now it would be worth playing without the straight, royal,or flush.. top to get 5 of a kind..which is alone the hardest to get as is.. is a good roll hunt since its worth more then 2x payout...the way it is, its just taking space in v2..in my very honest opinion..

I dont know if you actually did the maths on that... you need to calculate the chances of getting a full house, while facotring in That there are 7 types of diamons or smtin like that) + beating the dealer.. its gotta be very low is it not?

Anyone ? Am i on the right track to the maths to illustrate the edgy thing?
