I set my clothes out the night before and have a strict no phone rule for the first 30 minutes I'm awake so I don't start the day anxious. It’s basic stuff but once my brain isn't scrolling immediately I actually feel like getting stuff done.

I started putting on a random song from my high school playlist and forcing myself to dance like an idiot for one full track before I touch my phone. It sounds absurd but it genuinely flips my mood from groggy to ready in under three minutes.

The other day I accidentally blasted Slayer at 6 AM instead of my usual chill playlist and weirdly enough it completely snapped me out of my groggy haze. Now I do it on purpose because nothing says "you're awake" like a guitar solo screaming at your face.

A cold shower right after waking up has been a game changer for me, I swear the shock to the system clears out all the mental fog faster than any caffeine ever could.
