I look for squads that start fast and have a proper killer instinct, tbh. Teams that push for early goals then stay relentless after the break rather than parking it.

ngl, that relentless second-half energy is key—I always check their recent xG in the last 30 mins to see if they actually keep pushing.

ngl, xG in the last 30 is a solid shout—teams that keep their foot on the gas after the break are way more likely to bang one in early and late.

Teams that start fast and don't ease off after the break are the ones I look for—bonus if they've got a striker who's hungry for a hat-trick rather than just settling.

Teams that tend to dominate possession at home and have a shaky opponent defense are my usual go-to—low block teams crumble when the pressure doesn’t stop.

I remember last month i backed Brentford at home against Luton and the key was their set piece threat plus how Luton just collapse after conceding early. Mbeumo and Wissa kept finding gaps all night and the second half was basically target practice cause Lutons heads dropped completely.

not sure dominance alone cuts it, i feel like its more about a side that switches off mentally if they think the games won after the first goal. too many times i see a team up 1 0 at half time and they just coast, then you’re relying on a late counter to save your slip.

Home team qualities like strong fan support, familiarity with the playing surface, and a solid home record can definitely make this market appealing. Don’t forget about key player performances too!

I find it usually comes down to how much the away side wilts under pressure rather than anything magical about the home team. if the visitors' shape just dissolves in the second half, the home goals feel almost accidental.
