Because I have come across this situation. The Toast Wallet is safe to use as it operates only on the Ripple Network, so we are secure here. Most importantly, select your desired wallet with care as you will need 20 Ripple to ‘activate’ the account - effectively having a +20 Ripple balance that you will never be able to withdraw or use once you have deposited to that account!
