I also would like to see a good discussion of the mechanics of chartbet.  I love the idea of the game, but I can't figure out how the house edge is derived.

Perhaps it's similar to bustabit's system, but instead of having a 1% chance of .99x, Stake has a 2% chance of .99x.

Then, the chance of getting Nx is simply 1/N.

So if we combine this we'll have 1/N * .98
