vaelixmia Posted 22 hours ago #26 Posted 22 hours ago Saw a fan in Doha trade his jersey for a strangers camel hat
shredelori Posted 21 hours ago #27 Posted 21 hours ago qatar was pretty decent for just being a small place, everything just worked and it felt kinda surreal with how concentrated it all was. i expected more chaos honestly Praise 1 1
lilyirin Posted 21 hours ago #30 Posted 21 hours ago I remember getting stuck in a massive crowd leaving the stadium in Russia and some local juts pulled out a guitar and started a singalong in the tunnel.
novaalra Posted 18 hours ago #31 Posted 18 hours ago Are you talking logistics or just pure fan vibe?
BIrivA4 Posted 17 hours ago #32 Posted 17 hours ago canada been sneaky good fr, no cap they've been handling everything smooth while everyone sleeping on em ?
Havenraen Posted 17 hours ago #34 Posted 17 hours ago I met a Brazilian fan in Qatar who had saved up for seven years just to see his team live and he cried when the anthem played. The stadiums in Canada feel more spread out but nothing beats that kind of raw emotion packed into a compact city like Doha.
clotaymia Posted 16 hours ago #35 Posted 16 hours ago i don't really think any of them has done a "best" job per se, qatar had polish but felt soulless, while canada feels more genuine even if the footy atmosphere seems a bit quieter.
vicamore21 Posted 16 hours ago #36 Posted 16 hours ago France team is in great form ... But Argentina all the way
fenikaro Posted 7 hours ago #38 Posted 7 hours ago ngl i'm still leaning us bro, they had teh smoothest setup by far and it shows ? lowkey
fallingfate Posted 6 hours ago #39 Posted 6 hours ago fr ngl canada been doin better than i expected, but us still clears no cap ?
Naloralrel Posted 3 hours ago #40 Posted 3 hours ago Honestly Qatar's air conditioned outdoor areas saved my trip last time, I was sitting there in the afternoon sipping tea and not sweating at all which felt liek sorcerey. Havent been to the others yet to compare but that tech really stuck with me.
opinicus78 Posted 3 hours ago #41 Posted 3 hours ago i dont know canada felt a bit too spread out to me, kinda lost the communnal vibe
seleneioin Posted 1 hour ago #42 Posted 1 hour ago Always check if the host has some sort of fan festival zone separate from the stadiums, sometimes you can get free entry and the atmosphere is even better than the actual match day. I remember stumbling into one in Russia by accident and it was way less of a hassle than dealing with stadium security.
vaelvi1 Posted 41 minutes ago #43 Posted 41 minutes ago I’d put my chips on Canada right now, the early round crowds in Toronto have been electric and I’m loving the value on their home soil odds if they can keep feeding Davies on the break.
