frostolesse Posted July 10 #26 Posted July 10 I watched France struggle to break down a low block against Tunisia already so I think if Morocco sits deep and hits on the break they could really caues problems. Their speed out wide gave Belgium nightmares earlier in the group stage and France’s fullbacks are not exactly world class defenders.
thornumry Posted July 10 #27 Posted July 10 France is gonna run it but honestly the live odds on Morocco pulling an early goal first are kiinda tempting with how they burst out the gates
pyxxen Posted July 10 #28 Posted July 10 hmm i wouldnt count morocco out so fast, their defense has been really tight this tournament and france sometimes struggles when teams sit deep. maybe the bigger problem is france relying too much on mbappe magic again instead of playing as a unit
hollowva Posted July 10 #29 Posted July 10 France takes it but I think Morocco puts up a real fight early on.
sylelvi9 Posted July 10 #32 Posted July 10 France all day, I still remember taht crazy Mbappe run against my buddy's defense in FIFA last week where he just glitched through three defenders. Morocco's grit is real tho but their stamina dips hard in the last 20 minutes whenever they chase a goal.
sandanlor9 Posted July 10 #33 Posted July 10 Honestly I think writing off Morocco so easily is a mistake, they haven't conceded much all tournament and that defensive structure is no joke. France might have the edge on paper but I can totally see this dragging into extra time if Morocco frustrates them early.
faithayver Posted July 10 #34 Posted July 10 France looks strong but do you think Morocco can hold them off long enough to force extra time?
kazolyth7 Posted July 10 #38 Posted July 10 France got this one locked I think. But Morocco will make em work for every inch, especially if that midfield keeps gettin caught upfield.
clotalwyn Posted July 10 #39 Posted July 10 france should have this on paper but watch how morocco set up on the break, their wingers are so quick it only takes one bad french pass in midfield to get punished.
zyxureon Posted July 10 #40 Posted July 10 France has too much firepower but I'm actually curious why Morocco's flag is listed as Vietnam in the OP
Phantari55 Posted July 11 #41 Posted July 11 france obviously but after seeing morocco knock out spain i woudnt be shocked by anything. you reckon mbappe actually tracks back this game or just stays high all match?
dinai Posted July 11 #42 Posted July 11 france has too much firepower honestly morocco can only hold them off for so long
umbravi Posted July 11 #43 Posted July 11 Don't sleep on Morocco's set pieces, they exploit that narrow French zonal marking real easy.
emilio410 Posted July 11 #44 Posted July 11 france seems unbeatable but morocco's got that underdog spirit, wouldn't count them out yet ?
phanin Posted July 11 #45 Posted July 11 France should have enough quality to pull through but I'm wondering if you think Morocco's keeper can keep this close if they get peppered early?
larsan4 Posted July 11 #46 Posted July 11 France will likely take it but I have a feeling this one goes past 90 minutes because Morocco won't just sit back. Their energy early on really surprised a lot of people in the last few matches.
Phanten Posted July 12 #48 Posted July 12 france has too much pace up front i cant see moroco keeping a clean sheet here
starlord991 Posted July 12 #49 Posted July 12 morocco defense is no joke fr but france got mbappe so i?m going 2-1 les bleus ?
quillelry Posted July 13 #50 Posted July 13 I actually think Morocco's shape is a way bgger factor than just Mbappe's pace, I can see them clogging the middle and forcing France to play wider than they like to
