There are so many stats available now—xG, shots on target, possession, corners, head-to-head, and more.

If you could only use one statistic before placing a football bet, which would you choose and why?

I prefer recent xG since results alone can sometimes be misleading

Expected goals against is my choice because strong defenses are more reliable

I would use shots on target because possession does not always create danger

Recent form is the most useful because confidence can change everything

I would choose average goals scored because it is simple and practical

Corners are useful for me when betting on attacking teams

I trust xG because it measures performance beyond the final score

Head-to-head would be my choice for teams with a clear historical matchup pattern

I would use goals conceded because defensive weakness is easier to exploit

Possession to is the easiest thing to bet on ever.

Shots inside the box tell me more than total possession

I prefer first-half scoring stats for live and first-half markets

Home and away form would be my one statistic because venue matters a lot

I would choose big chances created because they show genuine scoring potential
