Will the casinos begin to require verification as wallet`s started? This will definitely reduce fraud and children gambling , But there are many minuses. The abuse of personal data will increase , interest in crypto`s will drop , and the price will also fall

Might be a requirement, not because of the casinos wanting to do so, but if let's say any parent catches his kid playing on a casino, that parent surely might have a winning case suing that casino. I know something like this happened to one cs:go betting website and they had to implement an age verification thing like uploading your ID or passport or driving licence. So yeah, some casinos might try to implement that due to the fear of being sued. I don't know for sure if stake has this thing covered.
Also, I don't really know if there might be too many personal data abuses. The laws are pretty strict in this case and risking to do any abuse isn't worth it that much.
Anyways, as far as I know, the owners of stake are proud of the transparency of stake right now so they surely won't add something that might force you to reveal your personal data or anything. At least not if they aren't forced to do so.

It can happen with fiat casinos, which accept local currencies, due to governments around the world. But, because crypto is decentralised, nobody can force a casino to to require verification. It will be up to the owner's discretion :)

A lot of sites are requiring people to use there photo id to open up wallets and casino accounts.

I went to an exchange / wallet site  the other day to sign up and I have to take a picture with me holding my id ... i still haven't been verified in there system so i am in limbo on an account there.

To be honest, i was really shocked of this. not being done by a casino my first feq days and Thought exactly the same.. kids, teenagers or individuals who sbould/cannot  to play..  and therez been a few. i thinkxD .. i personally dont have problems kyc as i explained on a different post . which i do not want to repeat in detail again hehehe.. simply that.. id proof of addreds even phone numbers are available as public records already and the info is out there.  those will not do much when trying to prove your identity to credit bureaus..  xD

I think this will not happen. What does it matter who pays the money. And not everyone will play if he needs to submit his data.

those that wont usually are underage or got something to hide.. name dob address phone number.. lots of places have this information.. its simply proving you are who you say you are and at a legal age..

You are wrong in your accusations. I am an adult who already has his children and I have no problems with providing KYC. I had in mind that providing KYC will scare away most of the players who do not want to provide information about themselves. And their parents, and not the casino, should follow the actions of the minors.

I don't have anything to hide but I don't want to hand over to anyone my ID. Is the idea of privacy difficult to understand? Nowadays handing over your data to various sites, it's just a matter of time before your info leaks out and is available on a public pastebin for free. In total probably a billion people's worth of account info has been compromised over the past years.

I think for cryptocurrency based casinos it will generally not be a compulsory factor to have KYC verifications in order to withdraw your own bankroll on the crypto-casino. This would defeat the main purpose of cryptocurrency itself if made compulsory fot KYC checking.

I think its not needed too much for crypto casinos but I saw some of the websites already launched this function and I dont like to share my personal information too much online because its really risky.

I really don't know what purpose the casino would have for requiring id verification.  There's no governing entity that requires them to to do so, therefore It would be pointless.  The whole purpose of crypto currency is to stay anonymous & eliminate the need to reveal any personal identifying information.  Underage gambling is illegal, but If there is an underage gambler playing at the casino,  The casino isn't the one who will be in trouble since they are under no governing entity that regulates such things.  The only time I could see a crypto currency casino requiring a player to verify their id would be if there was a reasonable suspicion that a player might be under age,  depending on the individual casino's policy which should be stated in the "Terms & Conditions".

Well if the amount of beggars and alts and them asking and begging for others increase then yeah. This would be very bad though because people wouldn't give such sensitive information out.
