The biggest issue for GSW is protection of pick and roll, defending the paint and grabbing those rebounds on defense. Toronto had too much second chances and too many easy buckets. Also scoring has to come from someone other then Klay and Steph because they can't carry the team all the time, they need someone else to come up and drop 15-20 points at least. Maybe Cook or Iggy or Draymond. Btw Green is in real danger of getting another technical and potentially missing out 7th game if Warriors win it tonight. I don't think it is easy to win 3 times in a row against reigning champs regardless of all the injuries they had encountered, would be good if this goes to game 7 and we get to watch one more game between these two amazing teams. Depending on who wins MVP is either Curry or Kawhi, both would be deserved with Kawhi really bringing the whole Raptors team on his back from the start of the playoff's and Curry would have to display his A game in last two games to complete the turnaround from 1-3 to 4-3 which would finally earn him Finals MVP, recognition that he still doesn't have,
bonet777 Posted June 13, 2019 #52 Posted June 13, 2019 We'll see everything today.I will definitely watch this match and all the same if Durant is going to play I think Toronto will not stand a chance, especially after I left Derozan
bonet777 Posted June 14, 2019 #53 Posted June 14, 2019 Congratulations to the Toronto team!At the wrong time Thompson sprained his leg,and the КD, too.Well the best team won!
nhoyasim101 Posted June 14, 2019 #54 Posted June 14, 2019 congrats raptors that was so sweet championships kudos to MVP kawai and to the rest of the team you made it after long years of waiting.
Sportsbook Support Darko Posted June 14, 2019 Author Sportsbook Support #55 Posted June 14, 2019 It was a good game, sadly Thompson tore his ACL and will possible miss the next year. I am always rooting for the underdog but in this series that was GSW. If they were healthy Toronto would lose I am almost convinced in that. This way with so many injuries it was expected Toronto win. Happy for the Raptors who made some bold moves last summer, changed head coach, traded main star for a one year deal of superstar who will hopefully stay a bit longer in Toronto now, added Ibaka and Gasol via trades. Just really smart moves that paid off, congrats to the GM as well. As for GSW next year is riddled with questions. Both KD and Klay are free agents who are likely to miss either full or almost complete season. Not sure what are their options, for KD there are rumors that several teams are prepared to offer him max deal regardless of the injury but not so sure about Klay. I think he will stay in Warriors uniform for couple more seasons. Shame about his injury since he turned on Game 6 mode (probably the best Warrior when it comes to elimination games, Curry tends to disappear but not Klay) and was on the way to score 40+ easily. With him on the floor it would gone to game 7 without a doubt. Now it is time for Raptors to celebrate and for everyone else to bolster their squads in order to attack the title next year. There are a lot of free superstar agents, great draft class as well so off season promises to be exciting as well. I will of course do my best to inform you all about any major moves that players and teams make and will provide summary prior to the start of the season like I did last year.
