Hello Stakers and Stakets,

Roulette players, lovers and obssessed.. xD

On this post, i would like to get your opinion on how playing roulette at a local casino vs playing online feels for you.

So here are my questions:

1) Does it feel similar to you playing roulette whether it be at a local casino or playing online? If no, what would you say that makes it a different experience or what makes it feel different?

2) Does playing with crypto instead of local currency makes you bet any differently and why?

3) What about having to play with other players betting at the same time as you vs playing here where you are betting solo, does it make any difference? Perhaps not as nervous or maybe not as exciting?

4) Anything else you would like to add that has not been covered by the questions above?

Feel free to elaborate on your answers.. xD

Thanks and good luck everyone!

Maybe the ballz be with you!

Cheers.

playing roulette here and in other locations it's the same. only need luck. depends on hockey. I myself have never felt the pleasure of winning online or local roulette. maybe there are friends who can give little input or tricks to win roulette games?

1. I prefer to play online roulette, because I do not trust the croupier in real casinos and their methods of throwing the ball. And after the win in every way impede the payment of money.
2. Play on cryptocurrency for me are less tangible than real money and sometimes I go beyond the budget.
3. Playing here with other players in the roulette would be great, but I don’t know if it will be possible soon.

I have never had the chance to play roulette in a live casino.  I have always wanted to because I enjoy playing it  online so I'm assuming I would naturally like it in person at a table.

apart from the difference of being able to play with the online crypto, maybe I prefer the live game for the atmosphere that is created and being able to interact with the other players

Its feel different of course, playing roulette in real life casino or live casino is looks more real and more hyped than online roulette. Also live casino don't have that provably fair things lol xD

Ya a friend of mine actually said something to me regarding how they they throw the ball and when.. I thought he was just being paranoid at first, but after thinking more about it and reading stuff online, that it is possible to manipulate the outcome by how and when the ball is thrown in... which is not easy; but definitely possible with lots of practice like everything else requiring muscle memory.. xD Funny you mentioned it.. xD

1) The online roulette deosn't feel similar in my opinion because in real life you get to see the other players and their bets and it's just different.

2)Nope it doesn't there is no difference we convert it into btc and play.

3) I like playing with other players to be honest. I like the live ( real life ) roulette more than the online solo one.

Live Roulette is definitely more exciting as you can see the ball falls into the number as the roulette spins in real life but in terms of convenience Online Roulette is definitely easiest to start playing with anywhere and anytime.

Different experience is live atmosphere is nice, you can see everyone trying to win on the same table. Also you can order drinks at the table, and table service bring over, that's nice. Also people congratulate you if you win big (still some beggers !) but still nice, I guess it's more social!

But Stake chat helps with this, that we can share our bets, and people can congratulate us if we want to share out nice wins. Can't autobet live, so that's something nice I think that online has that live doesn't.

Also ofc big thing, is live you can't bet such small amounts, and still have fun. So that's a massive plus for online I think!

When I play with crypto I never ultimately win, I never made a withdraw in like over 1 year. Because I don't really see crypto as real money as much as I do casino chips, where you can just walk to cash desk and cash them into money. So that's kind of dumb of me. But just the way mind works online, I think it's easier to just keep YOLO until you lose, or not care as much as if you have cash / casino chips in your hand.

Playing with other players at same table is more exciting I think, also you can strike up conversations etc at the table which is nice.

1. I think it's almost the same because every time I gamble in roulette, I always just choose colors, never in numbers, if you play at live, I always play with my friends who like to put on numbers.
2.If the money I feel is the same, especially the crypto currency is currently warm.
3. I think number 3 is almost the same as number 1 :)
4. I feel that playing live is more interesting because I can play with the rest of the same friends in my opinion

Playing in a casino is my preferred method of betting on roulette because the atmosphere of the casino with everyone else is what makes it fun. I don't really gamble to make a ton of money, mostly just to pass the time and enjoy myself. Plus, sometimes if you go enough to a land based casino you can find biased wheels that could give you a slight edge, granted the use of electronic tables has really prevented that issue from hurting casinos now.

Betting in crypto is dangerous for me because I have a difficult time translating it into my country's fiat currency so I often bet too high and bust.

I would love to see Stake add a poker room for players to compete against each other. The risk to Stake is really none because they would only need to set up the tables and just collect rakeback from each table. But I understand it's difficult to set up something like this.

I saw the video on YouTube and there was shown a special remote control that controlled the ball and at the touch of a button it jumped and fell into the necessary sectors. Therefore, there is no confidence in the live.

For me, whenever I play live online roulette I trust it because the casinos I play with are licensed and monitored by the individual state gaming commission. I rarely play online roulette in an international casino that is not monitored closely by a reliable gaming commission.

I'm talking to you about roulette in real life ... Online is another topic altogether. But the roulette based on the blockchain is quite honest as for me.

Oh I see, well I trust the casinos in my state because I'd have to imagine the penalties that would be imposed on them if they were caught greatly outweigh the benefits of them attempting to do so.

But that being said, it's true provably fair is the best option even if it isn't the funnest way to play.

Do you think that they have no money to pay off special organs that can turn a blind eye to violations?

Well regardless, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they aren't rigging tables

i think the riggin happens only for the highrollers thats just on a lucky streak... i mean, why would croupier would wanna skem you if youre betting small peanuts amounts right? xD

I won't lie, when I go to regular casinos I usually plop myself down at the slots and play at like the smallest levels and just enjoy the "free" drinks.

But yeah, even if casinos rigged roulette, they'd have to be careful about how they'd do it and most high rollers I see play a large portion of the table with variable bets per number.
