I believe that spam trivia can easily be avoided, by adding another feature along with question and answer, have parenthesis. This will be put after the question, so that in this parameters need to be set for what kind of trivia it is, AKA true/false, yes/no, number guess you name it

this would then erradicate a lot of spam for a trivia where no one knows how to answer it, and if the parameters are left not really filled out to help categorize, then they are muted. Easy as that!

I like your idea, but I think most of the people that create spam trivia do it intentionally, and not by accident (sure, a few might, but mostly not). That's why I think the only way to really stop it, is by increasing the minimum amount per trivia. But it could work, it is worth a try :)

I enjoy trivia a lot, it allows me to think and occasionally learn something new.  I often autoroll on limbo/dice searching for higher multipliers.  So while I'm autorolling, trivia keeps me entertained.  The prize value is not the issue in my opinion, and increasing the minimum prize value will not change the amount of spam.  In fact, higher prizes will probably increase the amount of spam, to levels like when then the daily telegram challenge is going on which has a big prize.  There is a simple solution to the trivia spam that has already been done with the dice roll hunts and that is you send a pm (private message) to the chat bot with your bet id.  This pm prevents main chat from getting spammed with bet ids in the dice roll hunts.  Could a similar method be used for trivia?  Where the answers get sent via PM to the chat bot or trivia bot?  I think that would eliminate a lot of spam, plus allow people to read the question without it vanishing quickly with lots of answers.  I think this would lead to a much more more meaningful chat room.

+1

This avoid spam. Also, incorrect reply senders are not seen by others. So they're not infamous :)

Some people just gotta wreck it for everyone.   I think the spam isn’t punished too heavily and there’s a difference between guessing and being excited and spam.   But they always got that hammer out.  🔨

So you're saying that 0.1 eth which is around $15 would be a good minimum? I can't actually agree with that while it would decrease the amount of trivias like 90%, way too high. I guess a cool minimum to avoid spam could be like 0.1$ equal to each coin so users will be able to afford doing trivias.

I support the idea - a new room in the chat for trivia, it is possible that it would light up / there were notifications in the general chat when Trivia begins. Can be much better!
