I think the word "easy" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here because even pros lose sessions all the time, so it is not like you just sit down and print money. The game itself is simple to learn but the edge comes from folding when your gut says to play, which is honestly so boring to actually do.

Online tournaments are a rollercoaster though, you can nure a short stack for two hours and then get coolered with queens versus kings right before the final table.
