TKO Posted April 23, 2019 #1 Posted April 23, 2019 Heyo! TKO here It has been a long time since I last visited the Forum. But I think I'm back for good now. Well, I hope so I wanted to share my experience of "No-Stake" and "No-Gambling", so that more of you guys are able to take the right decision and sometimes take a break! I've noticed that taking a break from gambling is often VERY difficult for people who gamble regularly. Even an addiction isn't required. Its just a habit. And it affects us a lot. Stake, even though its a great site, lead to severe anxiety for me at times. Money lost, fights with online friends, etc. And of course, all the negativity and begging present in the chat also messes with your brain. So it's absolutely essential for you to take break for 2-3 days after every week. It's like a refrigerator needs defrosting, so does the mind. I detached myself from gambling for a good 2 months or so. Sure, I did visit Stake and read the chat, lurk, but never played a single bet, never said a single word. Sort of like being in a peaceful state of mind. I didn't visit the forum for even longer. And trust me when I tell you this, I am a much happier person. I also managed to make a girlfriend! A depressed, anxious fucker like me managed to get a girl. That itself speaks for the wonders a break can do for you. I also came back and made 100$ form a 1$ tip (Thanks brother @neich). This is mainly because I was able to keep a calm mind, and focus rather than subconsciously panic and bust. And now that I'm back, as usual, I'll say, you can DM me any time! I'm here if you want to vent, or need someone to talk to. Take good care of your mental and physical health. Only gamble what you're willing to lose. Stake is fun, once again ~TKO
