nhoyasim101 Posted April 23, 2019 #1 Posted April 23, 2019 I'm just curios about those country that say no to BTC like (china, Russia, Vietnam, etc) ,maybe because of its volatility, decentralized nature, perceived threat to current monetary systems and links to illicit activities like drug trafficking, money laundering. and because Bitcoin can be used anonymously to conduct transactions between any account holders, anywhere and anytime across the globe, which makes it attractive to criminals and terror organizations 😉 but i think the big deal here is the tax issue, although BTC is not endorse or regulated by any central bank, some country's are adopted bitcoin already, in fact some country's has already bitcoin ATM i'm just thinking that what if this BTC haters accept the bitcoin? btc is mooning for sure? what do you think guys? staker's does your country ban btc or crytocurrency? i am curios on how did you manage to play here or to any gambling site despite of its illegality issue 😉 as by saying if there is will there is always a way 😁 thank you very much
Louellalang Posted April 23, 2019 #2 Posted April 23, 2019 From Philippines here... so far BTC currency is not banned here.. that's why a lot of filipino is playing at Stake Casino..😂 GoodLuck all guys.. just enjoy playing...
Shaniqua Posted April 23, 2019 #3 Posted April 23, 2019 perhaps posted in wrong section? i thin kshould go to cryptocurenct or altcoin section =P im sure mod will take care of it soon.. but to stay on point... its weird how some countries are so scared by this onlin e money p2p thing
Absentt Posted April 23, 2019 #4 Posted April 23, 2019 Mine has banned the "private or public exchange of any form of cryptocurrency", meaning one can't expect to see a bitcoin atm lying around, but deep down the government has accepted its inevitability, it has to! Cryptos have proven to be better than conventional means of trade, bitcoin's market cap is being compared to gold lately! On the other hand, we can't omit the fact that cryptos, among many other things in out life, act as a double edged knife! They can be used for money laundering, funding crimes and/or terrorism anonymously & more; But is that bitcoin's (& altcoins') fault? Of course NOT! It's humankind's! Some tend to take advantage and misuse events in any way possible!
Shaniqua Posted April 23, 2019 #5 Posted April 23, 2019 well.. when you mention public/private exhcnage... it makes me think about money loaundering too as you mentioned... now it makes more sense... ugh i was noob not to auto think that.
cryptoguru Posted April 23, 2019 #6 Posted April 23, 2019 Because slaves must be everywhere. The state cannot allow people to use convenient, fast currency with commission. Banks must work and bring the state income out of the blue.

OsmaNN Posted April 23, 2019 #8 Posted April 23, 2019 because the state did not like it ! my thought as follows: A crypto money will be released for the countries they must earn more money
barbaris Posted April 23, 2019 #9 Posted April 23, 2019 It seems to me that the authorities of these countries simply want to take everything into their own hands in order not to allow the population to earn and be independent. Such people are easier to manage. Indeed, most of these countries are poor. In China, this problem arose due to the large electricity consumption of farms.

FotisNt Posted April 24, 2019 #11 Posted April 24, 2019 No idea, i guess because most transactions are anonymous so they are not able to track illegal ones. That happens here aswel so I guess thats a reason to other countries too.
Etude Posted April 24, 2019 #12 Posted April 24, 2019 It is likely they are banning it because certain governments/countries felt that it will be difficult for them to control it in many aspects including money laundering.
poloalto Posted April 26, 2019 #13 Posted April 26, 2019 countries that prohibit may fear negative impacts that we do not know about. But it's bad enough for crypto players who live there.
bmg Posted April 27, 2019 #14 Posted April 27, 2019 I guess a lot of countries only think that it will bring negative to there country. I wish people could see who much bitcoin could really help economys across the world.
Amn47 Posted April 27, 2019 #15 Posted April 27, 2019 Totally agree with your point of view, you are actually right many government officials think that it's not good to use crypto, and one of the main reason for this is we can't track transactions ( who's the person sending and who's the receiver) , but I still feel that crypto will be accepted globally Soon 🔜.
cryptofly Posted April 28, 2019 #16 Posted April 28, 2019 Regulatory laws in my country right now (Mexico). Will probably ban cryptocurrencies while they find out what really is happening worldwide with this new economic revolution. If we pay attention, they ban it but they are not saying that is a scam (which is not of course). They ban it because they are afraid to lose control. Centralised economy is what they want forever. Many, if not all, of the "law makers" have no clue of what the Blockchain is, with bitcoin and all the ecosystem. They see it more as a danger than a solution. Future with dark clouds ahead.
rajamishra Posted April 28, 2019 #17 Posted April 28, 2019 hello friends still some threat to crypto and not proper management of bitcoins only that reasons to banned in some countries.
nattekut Posted April 28, 2019 #18 Posted April 28, 2019 lot of countries ban because they feel they are loosing control over humanity. In my country there is no ban but they introduced taxes over crypto mining and profits made by actively trading crypto. However beside taxations I must admit they also are friendly towards blockchain/crypto related startups. But only those that can contribute to the existing community.
Etude Posted April 29, 2019 #19 Posted April 29, 2019 In my opinion those country who decided to ban Bitcoin should instead focus on what the Blockchain technology behind Bitcoin could offer to improve their country's technological infrastructure.
Bimfo Posted April 29, 2019 #20 Posted April 29, 2019 I think the reason BTC is banned in some countries is because the money is untraceable. The BTC breeds stealing and corruption. I can steal millions of government money, turn it to BTC and no one will know what I have done. It is as simple as that. The BTC is decentralized and untraceable. It gives the government big problems.. I come from Nigeria where the BTC is just gaining popularity. There is a whole lot of corruption in the system. Now think about it. What if people start making transaction with the BTC, and the government can't trace it, there will be a whole country collapse on our hands in this country. Nigeria is a den of thieves. There are more people that steal than more people that make honest living.
vinnycastro Posted April 29, 2019 #21 Posted April 29, 2019 Here in my country (Brazil) so far is not probibido but also has no regulation made.
ginoso2019 Posted April 29, 2019 #22 Posted April 29, 2019 they are afraid of losing their interests and the supremacy of the banks, which is why they try to block the crypto
Oldbear226232 Posted May 17, 2019 #24 Posted May 17, 2019 In my country government consists mostly of conservative politicians, who see all innovations (and especially cryptocurrency) as a threat, that can lead to "instability". That's why they try to put it under control and prohibit it.
Eben Posted May 17, 2019 #25 Posted May 17, 2019 Russia still has a neutral position, crypto is not banned there for sure
