Collectibles like CryptoKitties profitable?

Are Collectible games like CryptoKitties or steemonsters profitable? Or is it just for fun and you can make a dollar with it in like a month?

I'd prefer replies from people who have actually tried it / are still using it.

Umm i used to be so addicted to this way back but then when i checked how much i could earn in a week i stopped because it was not worth the time.

The gambling sites are for fun and  so the owners make money.And if u wana profit of this its ezy i make like 150$ in 1-2 months for chating,gambling,and so on

If youre pasiont enough you can get free money but if wee all do like me the site will die eventualy.

Thesse are hard to be profitable and will prove to be a waste of time unless you plan to play it for the fun of it or in the super long run. If not, it's better you stop it now and don't invest in it any further

I think these cryptokitties stuffs are more like collectibles for the wealthy who has extra momey to spare. These items also have inherent value in them which makes them so expensive in the first place.
