Asscorn Posted April 24, 2019 #1 Posted April 24, 2019 Are you tired of paying extremely high fees for bitcoin transactions? Or not paying enough and waiting hours or days for a confirmation? There is a solution. I'm sure most have either heard of or used localbitcoins.com. Incoming transactions cost .0001btc, so you will have to pay to put your funds on there. But after there on lbc your good to go and only pay 5000sat for outgoing transactions. Chances are you'll likely be paying more then 15k for your transaction so even after 1 transaction you'll have saved coin and time. I've seen lbc pay fees for my transactions as high as .0015btc for only 5000sat, (savings of .00145btc) and its always included in the next block. I know there has been some security issues at lbc in the recent past, but I wouldn't let that stop you from sending your coin there. Unless its over 1000 dollars worth. In witch case you can probably afford the high fees and don't need to save time or coin. Anyone hacking lbc isn't looking for 1000 bux. There looking for 100s of thousands. I've been using localbitcoins.com for over 2 years and have never had any issues. But I never leave more then $1000 on site. Hope this saves people time and money. I know its saved me hundreds of dollars. Edit: I didn't mention the fact that you will have to pay a high fee to get it too lbc in a reasonable amount of time If you only plan on making one transaction this method isn't for you. Anymore then 1 and I would be certain you'll save.
doddolo Posted April 24, 2019 #2 Posted April 24, 2019 Can't you simply use a local wallet and set your own custom fees? I think in calm period you could have a next block confirm with 5-10k satoshi.
Asscorn Posted April 24, 2019 Author #3 Posted April 24, 2019 Sure you can. But lately there isn't much of a slow time and you'll probably still be paying well over 5000sat for next block confirmation. Right now the average fee is .00026250 for next block.
barbaris Posted April 24, 2019 #4 Posted April 24, 2019 After hackers hacked this service, it became not safe for me. I do not want to risk from for low fee.

That's entirely your choice. However if your avoiding crypto sites that have been hacked or had security issues you'll have to avoid most of them.
lupandina Posted April 24, 2019 #6 Posted April 24, 2019 Same as this can work Freebitco. Very low wd fees, + small interest for funds keeping there. Sometimes I'm using it instead wallet, for not large amounts.
Etude Posted April 24, 2019 #7 Posted April 24, 2019 Interesting workaround to avoid getting a transaction stuck during massive unconfirmed transactions happening at Blockchain.
zulfandina Posted April 24, 2019 #8 Posted April 24, 2019 like I am comfortable with my wallet now. and I'm not ready to take a number of risks just because of a smaller fee. but ... there's nothing wrong with making a new backup wallet for small transactions. so ... thank you for the advice of friends.
rajamishra Posted April 24, 2019 #9 Posted April 24, 2019 hello friends its a nice topic for discussion.so many person their own opinion what they feel good for him or her and also at their own risk.her in stake if all r believe stake not closed permanently then better to kept in vault as when required for selling u can wd and send to any trader.
FotisNt Posted April 24, 2019 #10 Posted April 24, 2019 Well, I don't mind about the fees so I'm using coinbase which is the safest to me so far, I mostly use localbitcoins and other wallets to trade or exchange doesn't matter what the fees are. Safety goes first.
poloalto Posted April 24, 2019 #11 Posted April 24, 2019 in my opinion it's better to save bitcoin in a wallet that has been trusted and used by many other players.
williamshennie9 Posted April 25, 2019 #12 Posted April 25, 2019 This is the reason why some websites force a specific fee on its user (like Stake forces a 5000 satoshi fee to withdraw). This decreases complaints from users saying that their withdrawals take too long. On my wallet, I can choose the fees, and have once waiting more than 50 hours for a transaction to confirm. At 5000 satoshi, you should not have to wait more than 2 hours, at the most
Kate Posted April 25, 2019 #13 Posted April 25, 2019 Their fee when we send to their wallet is 0.00015 i am pretty sure but after the recent hack and how they didn't even compensate a little money to the affected makes me wonder why does no one even report the site or anything , even though the fees are less but the risk is high.
artizykristy Posted April 25, 2019 #14 Posted April 25, 2019 in my opinion the matter of my transaction costs is not too much concern because until now I always use coinbase and get a fairly expensive fee, because for me security when storing or transactioning is a matter that must be prioritized.

I thought same till last case... lolx Wanted some desktop wallet. Researched a bit, choosed Exodus, downloaded, everything nice. Was sending there some amounts time to time, safe, comfortable. Then got a need to withdraw some out from Exodus, and saw fees... 0.0022 btc for transaction? Are they damn crazy?? 😂 So now I'm in research of other, safe and comfortable desktop wallet, with fair fees
Shaniqua Posted April 25, 2019 #16 Posted April 25, 2019 yes! lbc is the best at sending ... .its funni u mention this cause ive noticed the very same thing as well... never thot of depoing there for this purpose tho... i guess becasue they send so many tx at a time... they can affort this.. i mean in 1 tx there can be 20 different wallet txs if that makes sense.
ceastem Posted April 25, 2019 #17 Posted April 25, 2019 It looks like a good wallet with low fees. Although i would still prefer the wallet we use here in my country since it can covert the crypto directly to our currency even with higher fees, it's not that bad. Also, from reading the comments, users' wallets were hacked from that site? that's not a good sign. There's a chance that the owner's developers just waited for the chance for someone to store high enough value of btc on their wallet on that site and made the grab. Low fees is not worth losing your entire crrypto savings if you ask me.
Sped Posted April 26, 2019 #18 Posted April 26, 2019 I mean to be honest it doesnt bother me too much, I deal with it and I feel like its not that
