ceastem Posted April 28, 2019 #1 Posted April 28, 2019 Although not confirmed yet, there are news that Samsung will make their own cryptyo called "Samsung coin". Samsung is another leading company to consider issuing its own cryptocurrency. The likes of Facebook and JPMorgan Chase have already made similar stories by making tehir own coins, with analysts speculating on various use cases for those crypto-monetary tokens. An inside source within Samsung revealed on Wednesday (April 24, 2019) that a blockchain mainnet based on Ethereum was being developed by the company's blockchain division. The project would also create a virtual asset called "Samsung Coin," according to the source. The company even revealed that the Galaxy S10 smartphone will have a built-in cryptocurrency wallet! With this addition of another huge company adapting to crypto, only close-minded individuals would be dumb enough to say that there's no future in the crypto world or worse, say that it's a ponzi scheme. read more here: https://cointelegraph.com/news/samsung-joins-corporate-giants-reportedly-eyeing-bespoke-crypto
williamshennie9 Posted April 28, 2019 #2 Posted April 28, 2019 This is actually pretty cool, especially since I am a Samsung fan myself. I wonder what the practical uses of it will be though... And I hope they give users the ability to uninstall the wallet on the S10 if they don't want to use it
Shaniqua Posted April 28, 2019 #3 Posted April 28, 2019 its so weird seeing threse mainstream companies creating or planning to create their own tokens and coins right?!

Although i would prefer it if it was "apple coin" instead, i would surely invest in it. Of course they would allow their users to uninstall it. It might just come as one of the apps and such, maybe they're gonna give ot free samsung coins there someday. 1 hour ago, Shaniqua said: its so weird seeing threse mainstream companies creating or planning to create their own tokens and coins right?! For me it's not actually weird. I had a feeling that crypto is gonna get big someday and can be applied to multiple transactions. This are just baby steps to what crypto will be in the future. Kudos for them for deciding early to adapt, because early birds always get the worm especially in this industry 53 minutes ago, rajamishra said: hello friends there is so many news about crypto some big company adopt or invent their own coins, hope its a good news for our futures and also those who are not aware of crypto they are also now try to enter into digital currency in crypto format. Yes, as big companies such as this have their own coins and make crypto known, more and more people will be familliar with crypto and will surely pave the way to crypto being used in common transactions.
AxelG Posted April 28, 2019 #6 Posted April 28, 2019 At the moment, this is just a rumor as I understood. But if such a coin is really released, it will be a new level of investment, because such an asset will be in demand and therefore the price will increase.
Shaniqua Posted April 28, 2019 #7 Posted April 28, 2019 but i mean... i still dont understand what on earth could they be used for... just another coin like all the others? but with a name behind it to back it up? or do you think these weird company coins wil have some more deeper use and value... idk,,,, it feels all like FOMO (fear of missing out ) syndrome to me... i hope they dont make it... we have enuf coins..
Kate Posted April 28, 2019 #8 Posted April 28, 2019 Oh wow that is a nice news to hear for us and brings hope . If Samsung does make a coin called Samsung coin then countries would find a hard time to ban cryptocurrency.
nattekut Posted April 28, 2019 #9 Posted April 28, 2019 This is news that is pretty cool, but hopefully they will build a very nice project around the so called 'samsung coin'. Cause without a spectacular project behind the coin the 'samsung coin' will just become one of the many. But there are many ways to give this coin a meaning and utility so I am sure they will work something out
Etude Posted May 1, 2019 #10 Posted May 1, 2019 If it is indeed true that Samsung will be creating their own cryptocurrency it would be a potential big player in the cryptomarket as Samsung's fame and wealth has such big influence.
laron Posted May 1, 2019 #11 Posted May 1, 2019 I just heard that there is a coin connection but I don't use Samsung stuff lol I use Asus, hopefully there will be asuscoin lol 🤣
bmg Posted May 2, 2019 #12 Posted May 2, 2019 I'm actually surprised that Samsung has not already done this a long time ago. I am curious to see how it plays out.
675675 Posted September 25, 2019 #13 Posted September 25, 2019 it is good for spreading cryptocurrency 😋
