Rexit77 Posted 18 hours ago #1 Posted 18 hours ago France came into this tournament as one of the favourites to lift the trophy. They have world-class players, major tournament experience, and the expectation of reaching the final stages. But Morocco have shown, once again, that heart, discipline, and belief can compete with any footballing giant. They have defended brilliantly, played without fear, and proved they belong among the world’s best. So here’s the big question: If Morocco knocks out France tonight, would you call it the biggest upset of this World Cup? Or has Morocco already done enough over recent tournaments to prove they should no longer be considered “underdogs”? At what point does a surprise team stop being a surprise and start being a genuine football powerhouse? Would a Morocco victory be down to France underperforming, or Morocco simply being the better team? Personally, I think football has evolved. The gap between traditional giants and emerging nations is getting smaller every tournament. Maybe it’s time we stop calling teams like Morocco “dark horses” and start treating them as serious contenders. What’s your take? If Morocco wins tonight, is it a historic upset—or just the result of a team that’s finally getting the respect it deserves? 🇲🇦⚽🇫🇷
Thornixxen Posted 4 hours ago #2 Posted 4 hours ago Morocco definitely showed they can hang with the best but taking down France on this stage would still feel massive given the talent gap. Do you think a win like that would finally get people to stop calling them a Cinderella story and just see them as genuine contenders?
Jaderayn Posted 3 hours ago #5 Posted 3 hours ago do you think their coach staying matters more than the players on the pitch right now

Unfortunately they couldn’t win but then they won our hearts , kudos to them
raxummia Posted 2 hours ago #9 Posted 2 hours ago I remember I actually put a small bet on Morocco to win in regular time during the Spain game back in 2022 because their shape was just that solid, so if they pulled this off now I wouldn't even call it a pure shock anymore. At this point calling them underdogs feels lazy, they've arrived. Rexit77 1
