France need to work the ball wider intsead of trying to thread everything through the middle because Morocco's central defense is compact. Just whip in some early crosses and they might force a scrappy goal from a deflection or a second ball.

I'm not so sure it's all on France's finishing, Morocco's backline deserves a lot of credit for staying so compact and making every shot feel rushed.

Morocco's keeper straight up denied my bet on a first half goal last year in the same way, he's got that weird instinct for reading the shooter's body shape. France just need to hit it first time instead of taking that extra touch, seen Mbappe bury one from a half clearance so many times.
