Got a love and hate relationship with that game. Sometimes I just keep busting it with the first box i click already being a Mine. 
The other times I just have insane luck and i get like 12 greens on 6 Mines  

It's personally one of my favourite games tho. It's highly addictive to get many greens

I mostly try 1 - 3 or 5 bombs, but i explode after 1 to 5 bombs max. Event with only 1 bomb i almost never go for more than 5.

For me Wheel > Plinko > Chartbet > Mines

But well, sadly we still haven't Wheel, Chartbet is disabled and I haven't had any luck in Plinko so for now I really stay with Mines

I like mine too. Like 24 mines and choose 1 gem. It will depend on your luck. But my strat is to stay on one tile until i can hit it and just double the bet on loss.
