Etude Posted May 24, 2019 #1 Posted May 24, 2019 Hey there everyone! The current Video Poker now with the Auto-betting feature coupled up with the Auto-suggestions for initial hand picking actually made Video Poker now alot like Slot games. You can just leave it running on auto and hope that the best hand combination appears to give you the very best of multipliers available, in the case of Video Poker it would be 800x for a Royal Flush! This poses a question though, is there still potentially a true Slots/Jackpot kind of game in the works by Stake as of now? Since we have been told there are two new games in the works but might be a while more to go. Well with that being something to anticipate for, are you personally happy with Video Poker being a Slot game replacement as of now or would like to see a real Slot game on Stake?
Sefan Posted May 24, 2019 #2 Posted May 24, 2019 hell no its so far away from slots, i love Video Poker but it would be a blessing if they where able to add slots, as i love to play slots, that is the only game i play when i go to casinos irl
rajamishra Posted May 24, 2019 #3 Posted May 24, 2019 Exactly what sefan said its true slot game more difference from video poker game ,also its auto roll similar like slot.

The logic does make sense if I were to compare it to a high variance slot as the highest multiplier for VP is at least 10-11x it’s next highest multiplier (Straight Flush). I think the only flaw I can find in which it’s different from a traditional high variance slot is concerning the highest multiplier, a paltry 800x at max compared to any random high-variance slot which can net you x1000 - x1500 for a line of 5 of the highest symbols, even going so far as to have features like sticky wilds & even multipliers during free spins to really bring the theoretically possible max. win to a shocking 108,000x. Now, of course VP has other benefits like more stability (allowing you to bet harder) over time but imagine a 108,000x win... fuck. 🤩
bmg Posted May 24, 2019 #5 Posted May 24, 2019 I myself am not a big fan of Stakes video poker . It's really boring to play and the payout aren't great either.
williamshennie9 Posted May 24, 2019 #6 Posted May 24, 2019 I see your point with this, but I would still love Stake to add a slot machine to the website! I play video poker at my local casino, and you can't compare it to slots Stake needs a seperate slot machine in my opinion.

In regards to the auto feature on video poker I have noticed some drawbacks. There are certain hands where auto doesn't always choose the best hand particularly when trying to get the royal flush. So I think there are still a few tweaks that need to be made. As for adding a Slot to Stake, I would very much love to see this game added. I wouldn't go crazy with them, just one good slot maybe would be a great addition. It's all about variety, adding a little game from every category would give players more offering while keeping that Stake atmosphere.
barbaris Posted May 24, 2019 #8 Posted May 24, 2019 I would like to see exactly the slots. Video poker will not replace slots - these are completely different games.
artizykristy Posted May 24, 2019 #9 Posted May 24, 2019 My opinion is that the better stake is actually adding slot games. because video poker remains poker different from the slots that have hunt in each jackpots.
Kate Posted May 28, 2019 #10 Posted May 28, 2019 Well umm no it is not an alternative because in vp you need a lot of skill where as in slots i am guessing it is just luck.
polor12 Posted May 30, 2019 #11 Posted May 30, 2019 well vp in stake have the traditional casino slot machine format.. each lvl of cards have their value.. so pretty much no difference.. actually all the games in stake should be considered as slots..there is no other way to put it... its digital has a betting and payout format as a regular slot machine.. is just not betting on the amount of lines.. or getting the same symbol like the traditional ones.. if there is no live dealer,, and we sit in front of screen,,,that is slots
FotisNt Posted May 30, 2019 #12 Posted May 30, 2019 Not really, maybe an alternative to PvP poker that users asked for it so hard.. I still wait for a real poker vs players:D.
expexp Posted June 1, 2019 #13 Posted June 1, 2019 Well 800x is good prize for royal flush but its very hard to hit it on single line videopokers. I would say 3 lines(hands) videopoker is just perfect.
FotisNt Posted June 1, 2019 #14 Posted June 1, 2019 no way! thats not a any alternative for slots in my opinion
