Inputs on Hi-Lo’s switch feature? Strategies welcomed!

I always wondered what was the implication behind adding the switch card feature to HiLo.

Does anyone have an idea?

The only reason I can think of is to give players wider possibilities when betting as you’re no longer restricted by let’s say, hitting a 7 in the midst of a huge win streak of cards.

I understand from other Hi-Lo games there is a small player advantage when picking High for 4 and Low for 10. If concerning K, J, Q, 3, 2, A, pick the side that gives you a higher multiplier. Of course, these small player advantages over the house only apply if it’s a single card and theoretically for a different version of Hi-Lo.

Similar to this way, are there any skills/techniques that you guys employ when playing Hi-Lo for various multipliers?

Please share! 😎

I do not really often use the switch card much at all but just occasionally when I do not want a long streak of cards open ti break at a low probability card. It seems some people also like to switch card just to see the next cards perhaps for analysing.

This is a really interesting topic, surprised to see very less comments yet.

For me I think HiLo is the game that is most able to alter the multiplier and the outcome. Unlike games like Plinko, Baccarat where you have barely any input. Whereas for Mines and Video poker we have slight control I think in HiLo we have the most when compared to other games.

Each round you could possibly win millions and millions if you are able to guess the right card or go higher or lower. The thing that made it feel hard was when you are say at 7 and you have to decide if it's up or down or if you are at A to 3 and you're scared it will go lower. You can always skip. This is what makes HiLo on Stake very much interesting, and I do believe if you are patient and positive you can profit slowly.

Surely, just skipping and looking at the pattern won't really help, but it gives you that sort of control you can't get in any other game mode. I have thought about this some time ago and wanted to try out some strategies on it and this post just reminded me. Let's hope its good haha :D

I'm a newcomer, and I'm learning about Hilo because it's a very profitable game. Hopefully, someone will come up with a tactic that can optimize the risk and improve the winning rate.

Well there is no way to do that on any games just saying because that would make stake loose a lot of money but if there was a bug then there would be a possibility to do so.

HiLo is really juat well.. random cards lol. That is why it is so exciting yet at the same time frustrating since any cards can appear at anytime.

When I bet on Hilo and I have more than 5 cards open it's obvious that possibility of getting wrong card is much higher than at the beginning so sometimes I use switch card when I can't decide where to go. And it's not only cards like 7 or 8 but for example sometimes even 2 , A or K when i don't want to risk I click switch card to see what would happen this way I try to learn how hilo works and sometimes it helps. More cards I have open more switch card button I press this way I can play much more safe and takes less risk until I'm satisfied with the balance so I can press cashout.

Hi there

Well to me switch card is very usefull and that's what makes hilo in stake one of king. I often achieved to multiply my balance to 10 with this. What kills me everytime is not using switch card.

I'm explaining my self. I don't know for you but for me the hardest card to predict is the first one. Or may e the 2 first one. When on a lucky streak  of sometimes achieved it but sometimes for 10 or 20 or 30 cards opening I pick wrong side. but now with switch it s solved. I just have to switch the first 2 or 3 first and it help me deciding which side to pick.

In the same manner sometimes if I have ax20 et x50 running play and I have a K or A I often don't have the balls to pick high odds. So I use switch and more than once until I feel comfortable to pick the next one.

Don't take me wrong it don't work 100%but before ther was switch I never won at hilo. Now it's the game that helps me starting whem I have low balance..

But indeed the other side of that is now we barely hit x160 or x1000 because it need to be bonded and do not care bout loosing few bets

I assume that some people would like to switch cards when the stakes are high or when you are having a very long streak going on and a risky card such as card number 7 appears and tries to break your streak and it is then skipped away to a supposedly "safer" card.
