polor12 Posted June 3, 2019 #1 Posted June 3, 2019 been around about little over year.. but been active in chat and forum little less then... i had a few in depth convo with many players.. i can understand where being in game site communicating with other players seems to be almost part of our daily lives.... I was a WoW player.. to those who knows what im talking about.. I was part of that society where escaping our regular day to whole new way of living.. like stake and WoW i did make real good money., and met very interesting people along the way.. besides the game play talking to other players made it seem so real.. people can be someone else or have authority over other players..sometimes we do disconnect from our regular lives due to any kind of reasons. some did admit being in stake is better then real life.. Question is., which life would you consider real to you., or rather what do you look forward in doing when you wake up,,
hustler1984 Posted June 3, 2019 #2 Posted June 3, 2019 are you saying that you made real good money playing WoW.? Is that from mining Gold? or was there another way to make good money... and how much money are we talking about... Doesn't that game still exist? Are people still making "good" money? I doin't have a real life.. so can't really comment on that... but ya... I look forward to waking up in the morning and checking to see if there's a telegram challenge.
bmg Posted June 3, 2019 #3 Posted June 3, 2019 I have connected with a lot of people here and yes a lot of times I would rather be here talking to my friends rather than being out in the world meeting people. I have been lucky to have actually met a couple people from here in real life
Kate Posted June 3, 2019 #4 Posted June 3, 2019 For me real life is the better life because it just feels like pure home not like a home home if you know what i mean by that.
blueprints Posted June 3, 2019 #5 Posted June 3, 2019 wait how did you make money playing wow? I thought that was more of a have fun kind of game only.
williamshennie9 Posted June 3, 2019 #6 Posted June 3, 2019 I've connected with several people here, and made some good friends here. I would say, I still keep my distance, because until I meet them in real life, I have no idea who they really are, so I always keep on the safe side
polor12 Posted June 3, 2019 Author #7 Posted June 3, 2019 For those WoW questions., I was LvL 80 elf rogue,,ranked 3 in the server name keiblerelf in Aeries Peak server.. I sold gold to peoples sub characters and i even LvL up their characters,, on the days when there is no guild runs., every person that i power lvl or the ones that wants to have rogue as a sub,, or twink i usually charge 50.. for every 10 lvl.,, .if it was twinks,, that is constant battle grounds,. with gear.. 20 on top... I can be lvling up 5 rogues., to lvl 50.. within in week., 1250$.. everyone had to pay me through pay pal and tell the desire lvl.. 100k of gold was `100$.. I was making about good 3k a month,, for just lvling other people rogue to twink status.. done it year straight,, it paid for my yearly membership my alienware laptop.. whatever expenses i had.. this was about from 2007 to 2010 burning crusade to wrath of the Lich king that was when 80 was capped.,and i quit before next expansion. .. i was a WoW addict.. I sold my account,, with my rogue with the epic gear and mounts.. including my sub hunter geared out, and death knight,, for 650$ before they caught on,, about account selling.,..
wngo123 Posted June 20, 2019 #8 Posted June 20, 2019 Quote some did admit being in stake is better then real life.. Question is., which life would you consider real to you., or rather what do you look forward in doing when you wake up,, Of course the real life is always better. If you need to ask such question you seriously have the problem with addiction, maybe not to gambling but addiciton to the internet and computers. Just relax for a bit, take a walk, talk to your real friends. Don't let internet or online casino sucks you up.
Mikehoncho Posted June 21, 2019 #9 Posted June 21, 2019 Depends on your definition of real. Nothing is real. We are living in a simulation. If you want, whatever we are programed to feel is real to us is real, but in reality, is no more than a line of code.
