rdbase Posted June 9, 2019 #2 Posted June 9, 2019 This was a surprise to hear that old time wall streeter Warren Buffett actually did accept the bid for his lunch to speak with him about cryptocurrency. It would pretty good if Justin actually got him to invest into some cryptocurrency project or even have him buy some tron from him using their mobile phones during the lunch time.

Spending that much maybe for publicity? So that other people wil invest in TRON seeing that TRON is doing well? Well, rish bishes usually never do these things out of nowhere with no secret agenda. We just don't know what it is yet.

The cost of $4 million was nothing in comparison to the global marketing he got and the price pump of his coin.

The annual charity auction for lunch with Buffet is something that the mainstream financial press covers extensively. If Sun can leverage his time with Buffet to explain how useful and powerful crypto currencies and projects can be, it could be a real game changer. Buffet is well known for never investing in things that he does not understand. He stayed away from Microsoft for decades before finally embracing technology stocks. If he can just be moved from anti-crypto to neutral it will be a huge win for the crypto community!

Surely it is from "investor" funds he dumped, now pump the coin price so he and others can dump more from fresh publicity. Difficult to be positive about any aspect of this.

It restates a fair amount of what has already been said, e.g. Buffet does not invest in things he does not understand, and the best case is probably just him not hating crypto as much as he has in the past, e.g. the story cites his "rat poison squared" comment about Bitcoin. He doesn't even need to get Buffet to invest, he just needs crypto to become more legitimate -- and it appears to be working! Double it and then pay for the Warren Buffett lunch and the rest of that he should give away to stake users Wouldn't that be something if some billionaire decided to do giveaway on stake? i remember one millionaire was giving people tasks to complete on twitter and then sending people money if they did it correctly for example people had to do Hollywood sign by themselves and send him photo of it. Not sure if that was serious and if he actually sent the money and I don't remember his name. That was a few years ago.
Enzo Posted July 16, 2019 #25 Posted July 16, 2019 I know Warren Buffet is a huge "hater" of crypto-currency. I believe at one point he went as far as calling it a scam. That being said this is quite neat and I do hope it changes his perspective on crypto. Having a mogul like that support the cause would do amazing things for it. I'd say it'd make $50k btc a possibility.
