wry Posted June 12, 2019 #1 Posted June 12, 2019 In what is very good news for helping people use their bitcoin Coinbase has expanded the availability of its crypt debit cards to more European countries. It has added Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, and the Netherlands to it's existing support in the UK for its Visa debit card service. The card works in conjunction with an app, and you can load it with bitcoin, ethereum, and litecoin. One thing I am not clear on is if you load the card with an amount of if it is a purchase by purchase type conversion. As I learn more I'll update the thread. Anyway, happy news for more use, even if it is not native adoption. Has anyone used this card? Link: https://www.coindesk.com/coinbase-expands-cryptocurrency-visa-debit-cards-across-europe

williamshennie9 Posted June 13, 2019 #3 Posted June 13, 2019 I am waiting for coinbase to expand into other countries. They are doing all these great things, but only taking users from certain countries with them. One day I will reap the benefits they are offering.
Kate Posted June 15, 2019 #4 Posted June 15, 2019 It is like if you load like 12 dollars worth of bitcoin then your card can be topped up instantly with that 12 dollars and you can use it anywhere in the country.
DreamStage Posted June 15, 2019 #5 Posted June 15, 2019 Well i had seen it 2 days ago because i was teaching some friend how to add some payment methods to his account. I was actually surprised that it had the Cards option because it wasn't there before, i just didnt noticed it lol. Edit: Im just glad they brought it up since it was only added for US.
