echang426 Posted June 14, 2019 #26 Posted June 14, 2019 A little bit of both, but I'm glad to be able to stay within my budget and never bet more than I can afford to lose. Otherwise, I can keep myself away from gambling until I'm able to afford it again. But to be honest, I should probably stop gambling completely.
ceastem Posted June 14, 2019 #27 Posted June 14, 2019 Well you can fairly say that I'm a bit of both. Although I dedicate myself to certain win, I can't say I'm not doing it and hoes above my goals often that made myself addicted Sometimes your lucky days just come by you know? We all try to make the best out of our gambling sessions that may cause us to be a bit addictive
charsequence Posted June 14, 2019 #28 Posted June 14, 2019 Im not addicted because I play on only money I dont worry to lose. And I play on low stakes and not so often, so its hard for me to be addicted to gambling.
DviouS Posted June 15, 2019 #29 Posted June 15, 2019 committed like a mothafukkia!! definitely don't go scratchin an itchin when I don't play lol.... or fiend for the shit... many damn days I don't even feel like playing but made 1+ btc more than once, from a faucet or rain, so it can be done again.. not a matter of if... but when 😃
davinmark Posted June 15, 2019 #30 Posted June 15, 2019 For the first time i joined Stake, i really addicted and never know how to stop but since then, i learned a lot from here and from now i always put some target so i will stop when i reach the target
wngo123 Posted June 16, 2019 #31 Posted June 16, 2019 I don't consider myself addicted to gambling , I love to play on stake, but I slowly get frustrated over time and I have tendency to play agresively and bust quickly if I don't win in short period of time.

I'm addicted to staying committed. If i have a set goal, I like to see it through, because no fear to me is worse than that of not knowing, in other words the question of "what if ?"
Mahdirakib87 Posted June 16, 2019 #33 Posted June 16, 2019 Whenever I make depo I will say myself a committed gambler. Cause I think to make small or targeted profit and run away. But when I start to make profit I become addicted. And lose in end. So I will address myself as an addicted gambler. Though gambling is for fun too

Though gambling is for fun too i look at life in general as a gamble. theres always decisions to be made, risks to be taken, and goals to be met. maybe 50 years ago safe a strategy but try freeing yourself by playing it safe and you'll see that at this current day and age doesn't get you far, theres too much inflation and competition. times were definitely a lot more simple back then.
Kippo Posted June 17, 2019 #35 Posted June 17, 2019 I’m not an addicted in gambling. I’m just finding free money from internet.
DariusBrasov Posted June 17, 2019 #36 Posted June 17, 2019 When I'm winning I'm commited, when I'm loosing I'm addicted.
Shaniqua Posted June 17, 2019 #37 Posted June 17, 2019 just a tiny bit of denial i sense from some of ye stakers =P but who am i to say or judge, im just a shani in the world... im little old me... teehee i cant get stake out of my mind =P just be safe in your habbits and dont . lose your shirt and shoes
ivan19911991 Posted June 17, 2019 #38 Posted June 17, 2019 Its plain simple: If you keep on losing but you still keep on playing every day. Then you are addicted. However, If you keep on winning and knows how to protect your bank roll then you are committed. You gamble not only to enjoy but to win.

Does the activity cause you to lie, steal or be sneaky, do you hide what you do, do you miss out from daily tasks because you are doing the activity, are other people hurt by what you do, are you thinking about the activity more than u . like etc etc etc.... i can get a list for you if you like of the actual criteria
Sped Posted June 17, 2019 #40 Posted June 17, 2019 I am definitely addicted, you know that it’s a problem when you can’t go a day without checking stake haha. I don’t know if it’s a bad addiction necessarily because I don’t deposit my own money, but it’s definitely not a good one. I guess it’s up to interpretation though.
CntryBoy Posted June 17, 2019 #41 Posted June 17, 2019 I suppose I would have to say I'm semi-addicted to gambling? I do go long periods of time without playing at all, but when I play I like to play a lot for the thrill of the big win. I blame it on my family... lol. My parents/grandparents introduced all of us kids in my family to playing nickel/dime/quarter poker around the same time we started walking... okay, maybe not that young, but still, I can remember winning $40, $50, $60 playing poker with my family back when I was maybe 7 or 8 years old...
Aazzah Posted July 21, 2019 #42 Posted July 21, 2019 Hey there buddy! In my opinion i actually do think I am a bit of both... I am not that addicted but i can say for sure that I am a little bit addicted. I am also committed too. I really do want to achieve that one bitcoin win! I have been trying for ages and I am not going to stop until I win! And even then, I probably wont stop! But yeah I am a bit of both - Committed and addicted. Mostly committed though I'd say! have a great day stakers

I do however only allow myself to play a certain percentage of my balance per day, and if I lose that, then I force myself to stop playing for the day Good resolution and I try to do the same. I play less and less, and pay attention to my balance now. Because before I played too much, many hours in a day, and of course I often lost. Now I play a certain part of the balance per day, and then I stop whatever the result. However, I still spend so much time on Stake, but mainly to chat and post on the forum
blueprints Posted July 21, 2019 #44 Posted July 21, 2019 I would say im both it depends but usually i start out being committed to winning. And usually ill win! but then i get addicted to winning and dont stop and completley throw out my goals and hopes and dreams out the window and keep betting until i lose it all and then i have to recommit and then rebust.
rajamishra Posted July 21, 2019 #45 Posted July 21, 2019 hello friends its a nice question, when you play like a pro gamblers and follow the rules and for a short period played and stopped after minimal profit, that's called committed without losing so much your balance and accumulate your balance day by day and when reach your target wd it and depo once again.but its not happen to all of us.our mind set not so much strong to stopped when we win and can not stopped before burst this is called addiction.its happen to all of us less than 5% follow the rules to collect their profits in time.
wry Posted July 21, 2019 #46 Posted July 21, 2019 Well as far as stake is concerned, it's really more of a bored type situation. So it's not committed or addicted, it's just that there is not much else I need to be doing at the present time. Thanks!

hillowner45 Posted July 22, 2019 #48 Posted July 22, 2019 I'm committed to being addicted bruv. This is the ultimate training ground to develop and harness self control. It's the equivalent of the hyperbolic chamber.
polor12 Posted July 22, 2019 #49 Posted July 22, 2019 being committed is a better wording.sticking with what you like to do is good thing..never a bad. until it affects you financially physically or harm others around you.. if it doesn't keep doing what you doing.. is not our place to say for the decisions you make.. you are grown and know whats rite and wrong.. we can give advice and is up to that person to take it..,,
SLFJ Posted July 22, 2019 #50 Posted July 22, 2019 I'd say I'm probably commited to my goal and I will stick to them, I will never give up my goals because it's dumb, you spent most of your time for that goal for you to reach and you suddenly just give up, why? Addiction is just another thing similar to commitment, but it is not the same at the same time, just because commitment is not the same just of its two different things.
