Hey guys and girls.  

Wondering if others have noticed anything with the rain.

I used to recieve several rains per day. Now I've only recieved 1 rain in the last 34 days.  

Did I somehow get banned from rain? Is it because Im using mobile?

Not that rain is the most important thing, however it is nice to recieve and incentive to play at Stake.  

Quite disappointing.

I can't think of a time I got rain when I was on my phone to be honest... If I'm on a computer I get rain all the time. Dunno if it actually makes a difference but it certainly seems to be the case for myself.

Well that happens, especially when Eddie rains before races, people goes mad and spams like hell! So most spammers just receive these rains and "loyal" members may rechieve nothing, doesn't matter if they lost a lot or something, kinda lame.

I, too, used to constantly receive rain, but for several weeks I have not received than one rain. I do not know what happened, but clearly something happened. Not what report about it was not.

I have been on my phone recently and have too noticed that I never received rain whilst on my phone. Not sure too if that's the case, but since couple of you guys haven't received while on your mobile, maybe something is up. 

And no I don't think spammed who spam just before the "race ammo" really get. I'm sure it's not just because of couple of random messages just before few rains. And I have seen so too, the people who spam just before don't always get unless they have been active prior to that rain too, and yet they may get only one out of 3 or 4. I have noticed this. Then they end up saying wtf I got none

What i dont get is why do people rely on small satoshi rains for wager ? Like why ? It is a free thing that the site gives and we should just be happy about it that it is there.

@Kate.  Did you read my post??

Where from the post did you get the impression that I or anyone that has replied to this post is relying on rain for wager.

Before replying why not think about what your saying and see if it make sense.  

No one said they were unhappy. I said it was disappointing.  But once again who are you to tell others they should be happy about anything.   

Do you realize how foolish you sound when you tell people to be happy about something they never recieve.  

That's almost as foolish as telling players that are losing lots of coin to be happy they have a place to lose it

I think it is also possibly caused by the mass increase of online players in chat lately due to the many giveaways that is being done by Stake such as races and daily telegram challenges has increased the average online userbase which makes less likely to be rained on.

That's very likely to have something to do with it.  I still think there is something more to it though. 

Literally had several days where I would get 10+ rains. Always at least 1 a day since I began playing here.  Now since the 10th of may I've recieved 1 rain from Eddie for .0008eth 5 days ago.  Other then that, 0 rain in last 30ish days

So maybe increased players in chat could definately lessen your chance of rain, but to see others recieve multiple rains in a day still make me believe that there is something more to it. 

Ok.  So I think I've figured it out.  

I believe it's a mobile thing.  I've since posting this logged in with a PC and have recieved 2 rain already.

ass corn i also have this problem i haven't recieved it for over four months now which ipersonally think is ridiculous  hopefully it is just rainbot being crammed up etc by the influx of new users

This happend to me on primedice too i waggered and chatted and didnt get rain in 45days then on 46th day i got it. On stake it hasent hapend and i hope it wont i heard some of my friends got same problem and support cant do any thing about it.I hope this bugg will be checked and fixed.

I also receive less rain than I used to receive..... but well rain are just tiny amounts, so I do not bother not receiving any rain.

This has been on going for a while, I agree rain is a nice incentive to play at Stake vs a different site you may not get anything extra from and probably wont lol.  It has been a month since I have gotten and I play on pc.  It seems to be basically talk and wager and maybe more then one message.  It just sucks for the people who tend to keep to themselves while playing more rather then chat all day, regardless of wager.  Some people are just less social like me.   I will keep playing either way tho and just try to enter as many giveaways as I can. Stake has so many, which some I have won so idc about rain much these days.  Just try to take advantage and join as many giveaways as you can .

As long as you have all your settings set correctly I think it's still random in that you're most likely to get some if you're wagering decent amounts but even then it probably switches the players so everyone gets a chance as I notice I don't get it for a while even when gambling/chatting.

I think the rain system is now more in turn, maybe today you didn't get it, but tomorrow it might be possible, and it can also be because your wager is very small so the possibility of getting rain is very small.

no theres nothing wrong with rain.. dont expect to get rain constantly.. have you been wagering enough are u very active in chat can be another.. chatting actively and wagering is pretty much to catch.. you complain about getting rained once in 34 days??? really..you get more in rewards then in  rain...come on bro..rainbot randomly picks players. if you chat more then wagering you catch and you cant be hidden.. even though they say you can as long you wagered... ive been wagering these pass few days on bch and ltc... i stock up on btc rewards for race.. not once caught anything.. that is why i just rakeback...

hello friends its happen sometime when u used chat too much u can get rain easily.OR either you wagering too much then you get rain if your not using chat too.but in between chat activity and wagering not matched with the eddie criteria then you can't get rained ,me too last one month not received any rained some day before its back to normal.mobile or pc its doesnt matter.

I am not receiving rains in much quantity. From time to time I get some, but I'm a long way from doing well with the rainfall system. Maybe I should get more involved, play more, and do more things to increase the chances of getting more rains.

Probably because it was easier than before to take advantage of rains . It only needed chatting and the rains were raining. The other thing that may have led to your drying out is that before the owner Eddie ran a lot of rains throughout the day and everyone managed to catch a lot of them. Keep wager and be active in chat and rains come back to you.

Yeah, I'm not too sure what's up, earlier this year I stopped receiving a lot of rains like I used to then suddenly they changed the system and I started receiving a lot of rains again. Then another change occurred and now I receiving rains very seldomly. Usually I'll catch ones of Eddie's rains and nothing else. Not sure what's up, I thought the rain system was based on wagers but I guess not anymore.

Yep, just raining it on spammers really just doesn't feel that special at all.

Although I'm not saying loyal players should only get it, the participators should be the one to get it.

maybe have it given on the current top 100 or something? This should be fair because these "ammos" are meant to be used on the race itself and not just to anybody that chats and shits. I think they can easily do that since the prizes are automatically sent right after the timer.

Nobody really knows how rainbot internals work, so this is only a suspicion from careful viewing:

To me it seems that spamming not only doesn't help but is counter-productive to getting rain. So it looks to me like you don't only need to be active in chat but also constructive

for now in my indonesian room there is no more about rain maybe rain by eddie or other players but very rarely, unlike other rooms which every hour there are rainy days, so it's very rare to bet with balance from rain

you all should thank hui for this comment right here.... hui... no need to respond to this.... no need to confirm or deny my msg...

however.......... gguyss......... grild.... rain collectors and normal users.. listen or read carefully now... as your wentess will depend on it...........L:
this hui msg implies that there is a DIRECT correlation between spamming and getting rain.... 
what does this mean? means if you spam a lot in chat.... you will have less amount of chances to get rain.... chatbot is not AI this is not an automatic process......
so................... you spam........... and a mod notices, warns you, and you continue to spam,.,,,, then they manually "down vote " or click on your name and click "spammer" this adds a negative rating to your user..... what does this mean? it reduces the chances oof you getting rain......

there is no way to confirm this or deny this.. this is speculation.......... however i know for a fact other sites have this built in rain allocation chance feature... that if you are helpful and constructive in chat your chances will be better to get rain... so when mod notices your doing  a good job, they may click your name and upvote you. this increases your chances of getting rain...

now there may also be a shadow ban kind of feature. where if you are really a bad userl... they may bar you forever from getting any rains, this may or may not be the case at stake but i n eveer encountered anything like this yet, nor plan do.................

i can almost certainly from my Professional opinion that this is in fact correct, the upvote downvote or similar user rating system.

only way this can be confirmed is if a mod decides to go rogue and reveal the inner workings of the  rain system in a forum that is not stake.com forum, as if it is done here, the mods and admins will delete the information, if revealed anywhere else, they wont have authority to remove it..
i wont be that surprised if this post gets removed as well........... but that will only confirm my suspicion/speculation even more and crystalize this thought in the community.

Sorry, but I didn't say anything of what you implied. What I said is that from careful observation spamming seems to me to be counterproductive.

 

Other than that i can only say that if there was a way to up- or down-vote users for mods i should know it. There isn't.
