Shaniqua Posted June 14, 2019 #1 Posted June 14, 2019 Stake chat words of the era: what is trending now... So im sure you all notice.... and think about it.. at least subconsciously... That some words are really the trendy thing to use or say while in chat.. The reasons are not to be discussed in this thread guys, as it is a whole other animal if we get into that.... Just the lists i think and timeframe discussion for now... lets keep it not messy please and stay on topic... So i noticed that a few words have been popping up a lot.... i really try not to use them unless i really like them or something, but that is my personal choice.. timeline i see/saw/noticed. original word the classic one... ██____ Grr. ____██ first known usage by Badger years ago... ██___ halp ___██ unkown user but i noticed anonnep using it first idk really who started it... one of my favs... ██___kek / kek ho ___██ kek ho specifically users were hanvee and shani 😘 then comes a few i dont like at all..... ██___rabble___██ i dont even know wwaduhek its suposed to mean even ██___dek___██ first known user and popularizer, levt211, not sure where he got it from or if he made it up... then comes ██___ghey___██ which was popularized and used first by levt211 but was ovciously taken from and adapted by user Badger saying "gay" when busting as an alternative to Grrr ██__moaning__██ i really dont want to discuss this one at all as i rather not have it be popularized.... shani likes moaning and it kills it when others constantly using it too .. takes fun out of it.. but hey.... i chose to make this topic so i gotta include all the ones i see and know without bias... If you have any corrections to make, please let me know in comments below, of course any addons too!
hui Posted June 14, 2019 #2 Posted June 14, 2019 I don't find it cool nor trendy in any way to use sexual orientations as an offensive replacement for something bad, but maybe I'm just old-school.

hui Posted June 14, 2019 #4 Posted June 14, 2019 ... exactly, or like using some serious illnesses for similar means - or joking about suicide. if anything it says something about the people feeling the need to use such synonyms, in my opinion.

Dp10011 Posted February 8, 2020 #10 Posted February 8, 2020 I'm curious about a word in the chat that I still don't know what it means and some still say "Imao". I think it is written like that. I believe it is not an English word.
sheenazbay Posted February 8, 2020 #11 Posted February 8, 2020 those are words made by several people and many people who follow them and use them to become popular, but I have never used it in chat, everyone has his own style
sahil777 Posted February 8, 2020 #12 Posted February 8, 2020 this is some hard work you did shaniqua lol so it means you are very nice observer and you usually pay attention to chat, which is nice i think, and yes these words are very comon in chat, i can even tell which word belongs to which user mostly

I completely agree with you here. Even if it is intended to be a joke, it can be difficult to tell purely from a written message and people can be offended by it. If you could tell through the tone if someone is just saying a joke, then I presume that the easily offended ones might be effected here.
