On the other hand I can understand that if they have to re-code almost everything they take the time now to make the coin more stable for the future years. Not an easy task to rewrap all. I'm a holder for Electroneum so i'm not too bored by what happen right now, but i'd like to see some concrete things happening for sure.

Kargai Posted November 8, 2017 #4 Posted November 8, 2017 One of the point is the fact they communicate a lot about that delay, so it don't seem that scammy. They put themselves in front of the line, they don't try to be as quiet as possible, etc. But even with all those trouble the coin is listed at cryptopia at 610 satoshis for 1 ETN. Basically it's already a 4x or 5x the price i bought them during the ICO. And it can only go up from now on. So not complaining

They are still running the test with HackerOne, it started a few days ago and will run for at least 2 other weeks. So far no vulnerabilities were found. If nothing appear in the next 2 weeks they'll have the green light to launch their App and all. While HackerOne track all the security problems they are working themselves to improve the app (interface, usability, new features, ...). And they are not 2 weeks late, it's almost a month (was due 1st november) but they told they had postponed the launch to mid-december.

The security check-in currently running by HAckerOne is suppose to end before that and if everything is ok they'll have the green light to launch their App & everything. A pretty good scam then if they can enroll one of the best security team in the world and if these last ones don't see anything scammy after 10 days working on the project If it's the case i'll be the first to say "Congrats Electroneum, you deserve to run away with my investment" ^^

When electroneum was still at their token sales, the team always live streaming on facebook every weekend and we can see how hard they are actually working. It's transparent. I mean, they can scam at any time if they really wanted to. And they won't bother working with hackerone if they really want to scam. But well, yeah right now there's a lot of cases happening to electroneum which made the users feel unsafe such as : they don't pay bounty rewards on bitcointalk, etc.

I have some GREAT NEWS for everyone! HackerOne are drawing to a close on their Private Challenge and not one bit of private data has been compromised or accessed by their team of awesome hackers! They found a handful of little bugs, but did not gain access to private keys, wallets, user data or anything scary. That is a HUGE relief for all of us. The HackerOne Challenge officially finishes on Monday and we are now rolling out the last of these little bug fixes and we will be launching (ahem!, cough! RE-launching) Electroneum by the middle of next week! We have not been idle while HackerOne were busy, we've made improvements to the look, feel and functionality of the website wallet system (which will enable iPhone users to make transfers until the iOS app is launched) and the Android app, and we've been contacting hundreds of potential partners to ensure we have some joint ventures already negotiated for once we are up and running. Hopefully by the time we launch next week, we will have something signed and have our first public partnership(s) in place.
