Shaniqua Posted June 15, 2019 #1 Posted June 15, 2019 So ive noticed an influx of unusual forum usernames ... which actually if after this post more pop up, could be a good indicator of some forum alt abuse... hehe... So first i noticed a guy that had a "@" symbol in his/her username... and then today i noticed a new user with "$" in his or her username... i wonder if !@#$%^&*() are all alowed or not now (lol tested just now they are...)..... oh i think this is not a good thing at all.. i see so much that can go wrong lol... but im not gonna give anyone any bad ideas... lol thi thread is a bad idea to begin with i think to an extent.... lol but yeah...did this catch anyone else eye? im just glad the in game stake does not allow for such characters mainly.. so a fair warning to mods and other staff... if you see a username with any non alphabetical character.... its probably an alt, or a redflag that they most likely saw this thread before they made the account, as what are t he chances of the other way around... and of course its not 100% of course, as i dont think the guy with @ in his name is an alt, but the other guy.... idk..... kinda looks fishy to me lol
Etude Posted June 16, 2019 #2 Posted June 16, 2019 Interesting observation regarding these new user signups on the forum with a peculiar symbol / character in their usernames. Well I am sure forum moderators would perform their due diligence to check on them now that the attention has been raised.
polor12 Posted June 16, 2019 #3 Posted June 16, 2019 you can add those on when you sign up users names can be any thing ?olor12,,users name dont need to make sense or match your casino name at all..even though you have to link your casino name to the forum name.. but still.. is basically 2 different acc thats linked,, some people don't use their casino name in forum., i wanted to name my user name in forum !@#@#,,, but people wouldn't understand
Kate Posted June 16, 2019 #4 Posted June 16, 2019 Yeah i know what you are referring tok those weird names and what they can do with the symbols but also there are mods and support to fix that easily.
williamshennie9 Posted June 16, 2019 #5 Posted June 16, 2019 I have noticed a user with @gmail.com at the end of their username. I am not sure if these symbols are now allowed, or if it is a mistake on the side of the forum or the user. Will be interesting to hear what the admins think of this.

Oh yeah i have got a notification of them on a thread it seems word to be honest and fishy. I feel that stage shouldn't allow special charecters to be allowed in the names because it is just plain weird and bad.
yololife222 Posted June 16, 2019 #7 Posted June 16, 2019 Damn that’s stopid they abuse it just to get some free sats? Just get a job and buy some. They should add that u need to add number and u can only use it once per acc.
barbaris Posted June 16, 2019 #8 Posted June 16, 2019 I generally thought that these characters are not allowed in the creation of a name. In any case, the moderators will deal with this they know who is the alt and who is not.
CntryBoy Posted June 16, 2019 #9 Posted June 16, 2019 I also didn't know they were allowed, but it seems it's kind of becoming the norm a lot of places these days. Not sure if it's good or bad yet... guess time will tell..
