Shaniqua Posted June 16, 2019 #1 Posted June 16, 2019 I swear IDK what happened.... i was playing on mobile.... got like a 19.... and was clickon stand... or "no" then stand cause dealer had A so was asking me if i wanted insurance, button smashed the no then right under it its stand button.... so i have no idea how the freaking thing hit... yeah if u hit on a 19 your probably gonna bust.... and i busted like a cumquat! ughhhh ... no sure how that happened as hit is on other side of the phone screen...
williamshennie9 Posted June 17, 2019 #2 Posted June 17, 2019 Yeah, I once clicked double on an 88 (16), instead of split. it would have been a winning bet had I split it, but I misclicked and then lost money by losing when I doubled it. Oh well, I guess it happens once in a while.
CntryBoy Posted June 17, 2019 #3 Posted June 17, 2019 I've done that type of thing before myself. I've never played on mobile because my phone screen is so sensitive, I don't even have to touch it to register... just getting my finger close will "click" it. I have done it on my laptop though, just clicking without paying attention apparently... and it never ends well. Hitting on 19 is a strategy I have yet to try though.
ceastem Posted June 17, 2019 #4 Posted June 17, 2019 I remember the first time I don't know about the rules of blackjack. I always Hit when it was below 20 hahaha Now of course it all changed. Thanks to the advices and tips that people give out here, we actually learn sooo much.

It’s common... no spilt on double dealt Aces, hit on 17, hitting when dealer face card is 6, taking insurance... the list goes on. Happens way more when I’m tired! Lose to house edge then lose to wrong strategies and on top of that lose to luck, damn.
nattekut Posted June 17, 2019 #6 Posted June 17, 2019 misclicks happened to me multiple times. but luckily never a big misclick….. if you consider a 0.05BTC on high 16 plinko not a big misclick 😂
Kate Posted June 20, 2019 #7 Posted June 20, 2019 It happens usually if you plau on mobile sound it is so small the screens fired some of the phones and since there it's a bit of a lag that can also cause delays.
ivan19911991 Posted June 20, 2019 #8 Posted June 20, 2019 I also experinced i double clicked stand. I have a pair of 8 and 6. First stand card is 6, then next is 10. In short i bust instead of winning . Worst part, I bet 0.05 Eth.. It happened when my phone screen sunddenly freezes for a second then made me clicked the screen twice.
echang426 Posted June 20, 2019 #9 Posted June 20, 2019 Ah, that sucks. Yeah that's why I avoid playing Stake on mobile. Whenever I do play mobile, I end up hitting a wrong button somewhere along the line especially because I run into lag whenever I play on mobile.
pfodo Posted June 20, 2019 #10 Posted June 20, 2019 It has already happened to me when playing mobile. I think the reason is mainly because we play quickly as if it were true that the faster I bet the more chance of winning. LOL
bmg Posted June 22, 2019 #11 Posted June 22, 2019 I have done this more than once . It happens a lot more to players than you think I have seen it happen to a player once one a large hand. The dreaded accidental "mis-click" it happens to the best of us.
Kingcashedout Posted June 22, 2019 #12 Posted June 22, 2019 Damnnn thats a fucked up situation im sure nobody purposely would hit in this case well i hope not at least

"are you sure you want to do that" before continuing the hit.... this is done in real casinos too...... when players make dumb choices the dealer double checks with them....
Etude Posted June 30, 2019 #15 Posted June 30, 2019 I guess you were careless while playing probably. Make sure to pay close attention then the next time when making a decision after observing your hand properly.
