multiplayer sports betting or regular sports betting

We all are waiting for stake to release their sports book. I noticed a lot of people are waiting for this feature to release. So I know there are a lot of people loving to place bets on sports. I am a huge sports betting fan myself. I am placing bets on sports for over 5 years now. But recently I came across something new for me.... multiplayer sports betting.

Wit multiplayer sports betting you do not bet against the bookmakers odds but you can create your own bets and put them online. In this way you can create sport bet contest which can be joined by your friends, family, online friends and any other person that is on that platform.

I have been doing research past couple of days and I found a couple ICO related projects that wanted to create the same. But we all know what happens with ICOs lately. they introduce a wonderful product.... raise money..... and never deliver what they promised. And the ones that get their product launched get screwed by all bounty hunters and airdrop participants that just dump their token as soon as it is tradable. Its just annoying that people just want to dump. I have seen many airdrops and the first thing they ask in telegram or other chat is 'when will the coin hit the exchange?' They only care about dumping their tokens to get cash. So most of this projects or never deliver what they introduced in their white paper or they ran of with the money or the token value get dumped which will lead to a failed project.

So why not launching a multiplayer sport betting platform that is just operating on the most popular coins like BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE,etc. I just do not understand why they all want to introduce this through an ICO.

My question to you.

Would you guys also love to play multiplayer sport betting with regular crypto currencies like BTC, etc if there was such a platform or would you rather stick to the regular sport betting opportunities?

I like the idea of sports betting, a few days ago they made one for an NBA game that was betting on the final number of results and I liked it a lot. I did not know about this bet model and it is very good!

I would also prefer the popular cryptocurrency for multiplayer sport betting. Because ICO is not for me, I don’t believe most of them and in the end it takes a lot of time. I myself can not wait to start sports betting.

Multiplayer sports betting seems like fun! I always thought Stake would start with standard sports betting on single games or tournaments. I guess they are leaving a bit of mystery to make it more exciting.

I think stake will add regular sports betting but a couple weeks ago I came across a platform (non crypto) that also offers multiplayer sports betting beside their regular sport book. With the multiplayer you do not bet on bookmaker odds but as player you can create your own bets that other players can take. You can create 1on1 bets but also create pools where an unlimited number of bettors can join

They don't want to do a real project, they want the one-shot "investor" money and to run for the hills. They are not a victim of dumping practices, they chose to give out tokens fully knowing they would be dumped. Doesn't matter to them because they are dumping as well.

Lets be real, if they wanted to do it, it would be already done. There's no shortage of knowhow, layouts, backend, setup, best practices to copy, there's no risk of the business failing because of failed implementation.

I prefer multiplier because you onow that is fun and all your friends are all along with you etc. And also it feels like you are not playing alone and you have some other people.

I love sports betting, in it for more than 5 years now. I do not think there is any need for an ICO, it can be easily started with multiple crypto currency or only with Bitcoin. It will be a hit for sure.

I think I would prefer the regular sportsbook rather than multiplayer sportsbook but that's just me. It would be a fun experience though to try it out nonetheless. I am very hype for the implementation of sportsbook in the Stake platform. :)
