philosophy Posted September 27, 2019 #52 Posted September 27, 2019 Honestly, I don't trust this new Facebook cryptocryptology at all. Because of its strong connection with the U.S. services and its politicization in principle. I am sure that this currency will not be as anonymous as its elder brothers.

On the other hand, Third world countries, government are coming out with policies to ban Cryptocurrency. Thank you for a great thread in here and links as well. It sounds nice if facebook really do. In a fact facebook has a great if they were states "having access to basic financial services." Cryptocurrency will more accepted though. I can't wait too long until 2020.
bright noa Posted October 4, 2019 #58 Posted October 4, 2019 I think that Gram will be much cooler than Libra. And its launch is in a few weeks. Thoughts?
wry Posted October 4, 2019 #59 Posted October 4, 2019 It's starting to look bad for Libra, as Facebook lost it's first partner today. Paypal has withdrawn from the Libra consortium. I also saw a news article that Visa and Mastercard are close to pulling out. Not a good time to be a Libra fan. https://www.coindesk.com/paypal-withdraws-from-facebook-led-libra-crypto-project
Sumedang Posted October 20, 2019 #60 Posted October 20, 2019 great, but it looks like it won't be that easy because there seems to be a conflict that needs to be faced. But do you think that could later become very popular?
allisonn Posted November 1, 2019 #62 Posted November 1, 2019 Don't see why anyone would be excited about facebook coin, you can't invest in it, the value is somewhat fixed, if you already have access to basic banking services like a debit card, it should already be a lot better in infrastructure and services provided. Why pay facebook for the privilege of having your money tracked?
wutfacexd Posted November 1, 2019 #63 Posted November 1, 2019 There is no way that facebook lauch a crypto thats nake no sense at all wtf is this xzd
