Jakubb Posted June 23, 2019 #1 Posted June 23, 2019 Hello guys! I don't know if there's topic like this one yet on stakes forum, if there is, I'm sorry. Basically, lately as the races and more advanced features were welcomed to stake, I've been seeing more similar faces in the gambling world coming on stake and streaming, even having Eddie stream the MEGA races on weekends? I mean that's something new from a gambling site, don't you guys think? I mean this site is so unique on so many levels, but to have so much for such an amazing community, it's crazy! But do you think that all these foreign from our crypto world people streaming and just basically bringing good or bad things to stake and why? I think it's both bad and good. I think that because we do get some bad people, beggars, just trouble-makers, but we also get people that are welcomed everyday on this site. It's a hard question to simplify and break down, but I think we're are all at a neutral point when it comes to new people. Sorry if this doesn't make sense, wrote it at 2:30 AM and i'm knackered.
CntryBoy Posted June 23, 2019 #2 Posted June 23, 2019 There used to be a schedule of regular streamers and the same basically 5 or 6 on a regular basis. If I remember correctly, they also used to be incentivized based on quality of stream, number of viewers, subscribers, and other factors. There are some great Stake streamers around and have been for a while, they give back, have fun, and bring positive things to Stake. There have also been some horrible streamers around and still are. So it definitely has its good and bad attributes as far as whether it is good or bad for Stake.... I guess the higher ups would have to be the ones to weigh in here...

I was not aware that streamers do/did get some kind of bonus for streaming, I suppose it would make sense as I never understood why people stream in the first place and giveaway money to people watching. In a way streamers are advertisers for stake so they should be getting something for their efforts.
Kate Posted June 23, 2019 #4 Posted June 23, 2019 To be honest when the streamers play on stake and stream the people watching then are usually the people who are on the site not any newbies it is rare to get newbies.

That's wrong and right. Well, yes. The regulars, Shinjo etc, don't really bring new people onto the site but rather we get to see the same names on their streams. But I'm talking about youtubers like Hirakazu, Prodigy, Instinct. They all have their ref links and stream on stake time to time. As they have a different audience, they keep on inviting new people onto the site.
Enzo Posted June 23, 2019 #6 Posted June 23, 2019 I check out streams mainly when I'm busted/bored but I usually always find good content, I think there should be more stake streamers however as I rarely see them as is.

I think it's both bad and good. I've been following Prodigy on Twitter and Youtube for quite a while now and I can say he is not new in crypto world as he is active in a CSGO gambling site where Ethereum is used when cashing out the winnings. Hirakazu and Instinct are active players of the said CSGO gambling site too. Good thing because their subscriber counts are more than 15k people and since the contents of the three youtubers channel are about gambling, the target mass of Stake was reached. I think the bad thing about this is people follow/subscribe to them because of the giveaways they often do which means not all new users are gonna deposit and some of these people will add up to the resident beggars of Stake.

Over the last few months it has become one of the best sites over the internet and a lot of streamers do love the odd race. Maybe it's a little bit of an achievement for others to watch streamers doing really well or really badly. At the end of the day, all users experience Stake differently. I love streams, it's a great way to know the player as well! Fully agreed. 23 minutes ago, jinz said: I've been following Prodigy on Twitter and Youtube for quite a while now and I can say he is not new in crypto world as he is active in a CSGO gambling site where Ethereum is used when cashing out the winnings. Same yeah, I've been doing csgo gambling for along time now, not anymore, but I know where all the youtubers are coming from, also their audiences are mostly based on gamblers so I really do agree with your statement about it being beneficial but depends on who's perspective you're looking at.
wngo123 Posted June 23, 2019 #9 Posted June 23, 2019 Quote But do you think that all these foreign from our crypto world people streaming and just basically bringing good or bad things to stake and why? I think it's both bad and good. I think there is more good oming out of it. than bad. More people coming to stake means more money for stake. More money for stake better giveaways and prices so the site can be advertise even more. More giveaways, prizes, races better for us I'm just so astonished that races are so popular. I wasn't on stake for a while. I left when there was no races. Now I'm back and everyone is racing lol. But my come back wasn't because I learnt that there is a new thing on stake. just came back as loyal player
barbaris Posted June 23, 2019 #10 Posted June 23, 2019 Many streamers is good. I like to watch people play, and if there is an opportunity to win a couple of satoshs, then this is generally good. Racing has really become very popular. Stake is always preparing something unique and new for its players. For this we love him and that he does not look like other casinos.
williamshennie9 Posted June 24, 2019 #11 Posted June 24, 2019 I think streamers used to be paid in the past, but not sure about things as of recently. I think the payment was a good incentive for streamers to stream and entertain viewers as well as promote Stake.

I think Oleg is sponsored and flan too that's why when they stream, it appears on notifications of telegram. Not sure though. Anyway, streaming stake is good on both ends of the streamers and stake itself. It may provide passive income for people streaming if they can get enough viewers to view their streams from time to time. Getting new players, wheter beggars or not is good for stake in the long run. There have been lots of beggars in the past, but still, these beggars still deposit sometimes or even refer some whales. So in the end, stake will still profit from having more and more players coming no matter what their intention is.

I think all streams posted in the Gambling Streaming section of the forum appear in the telegram channel. Most liekly to promote Stake.
neich Posted June 24, 2019 #14 Posted June 24, 2019 more streamers would be awesome. especially more Eddie streams i love them. seeing eddie betting on his own site is very fun in my opinion. his reaction after his x130win on plinko while race was epic

The guy is epic. Also I think the whole stake community is increasing, bringing more attention to the youtubers, streamers etc, leading them to come into the site, mostly since Races are now a thing. High roller youtuber/streamers want the attention and some even to show off or simply earn some money, therefore they come to stake being attracted to these benefits, you could call it.

Oh by streaming i thought you meant that stake streamers i didn't think you also meant youtubers who stream well for then yeah they do bring in a lot of new people to the site and it's great.
niki014 Posted June 25, 2019 #17 Posted June 25, 2019 hmmmm nowdays there is way to many fauceters and beggers when there was only 180 peeps at max online there was no such a thing ( atleast not so many ) but now days is also kidna better cuz we get a lot of giveaways races and coupons and many many more cool things back in the days there was no such a thing there was still the forum challenges and from time to time roll hunts in chat but now there is like those daily ones which are cool so yeah positive and negative but in the end of the day beggers can be ignored so i think there is more positive things
Aazzah Posted July 15, 2019 #18 Posted July 15, 2019 Oh wow... I did not know streamers get bonuses for streaming!? That's crazy haha I might have to become one lol. But on a serious note... I think most streamers do it for the recognition. They do giveaways also to keep the users entertained and then they get more followers... Of course so they can participate in the stream giveaways but yeah. I think streamers are mostly doing it for recognition and a good reputation Have a good day man!
SLFJ Posted July 15, 2019 #19 Posted July 15, 2019 But do you think that all these foreign from our crypto world people streaming and just basically bringing good or bad things to stake and why? I think it's both bad and good. I do too, just because when a new player joins, he does not know passive/direct begging is illegal here and usually starts begging the streamer with threats that he wont watch him if he wont do giveaways and stuff, and good that the stream chat is sometimes brought back to life lmao.
Enzo Posted July 15, 2019 #20 Posted July 15, 2019 I think the amount of streamers we have is a good thing because whether people believe it or not, they DO promote stake quite a bit. I'd like to see a few more, i'm also interested myself in streaming I think it would be a lot of fun to interact with the community in that way. Other then that I just think it'd be fun to have people watch me gamble Even though it might make me a little nervous haha.
