Bitcoin (BTC) rewards shopping app Lolli has expanded its business by adding major booking service Hotels.com to its partners, the company announced in a blog post on June 25.

With the new partnership, the New York-based firm now has two of the world’s top three travelwebsites including Booking.com and Hotels.com, Lolli said in the announcement, citing data from traffic analytics service SimilarWeb.

Founded in March 2018, Lolli allows users to earn Satoshis (sats), the smallest unit of bitcoin currency worth of 0.00000001 BTC, while shopping online. The firm claims to be the first bitcoin rewards application with over 500 brands as partners, including flagship brand of American global hotel service Hilton, as well as Marriott, VRBO, and Priceline, among others.

Following the partnership with Hotels.com, Lolli now enables global travellers to earn up to 3.5% bitcoin back from purchases on the website, the company said in the announcement.

Hotels.com is a major online accommodation service listing more than 325,000 properties in about 19,000 locations over the globe.

It is good?

It's great I often use this site when booking hotels. This site has quite a few users. If now they give cryptocurrency for this, then this is a very nice extra bonus for everyone who uses this resource.

There were some sites before offering sats for playing Dota 2. Sadly it's not around anymore.

Anyway, Hotels.com is a big one! I'm glad another well known site is participating in bitcoins. Seems like having bitcoins for daily transactions isn't that far off :D

I've used Hotels.com before but don't know anything about Lolli.  If this helps bring Bitcoin and cryptos to more users then yes it is a very good thing.  I wonder if Facebook's Libra is getting companies to think they need some crypto experience in order to be able to fully exploit Libra when it launches next year.

oh so maybe this is one of the reason why btc is in balloon mode, :) if some of the big company like hotel.com would support btc expect that btc will set new time high record

THis lolli team is doing the best think to create mass adoption, is one of the first companies doing that as they have +500 partners where you can buy and get a percent of your purchase in satoshis.  This guys are rockin`!   Good luck.

This is great News for Bitcoin lovers, Hotel.com is one of the biggest online Hotel Booking website. In my country they are known as trivago. It is a part of Expedia group. It is Btcback (cashback) offer. I am not sure whether the Btcback offer is available globally as you have not mentioned it in your post. It would be nice and helpful for everyone, if you could add the Blog link in your existing post.

I've used this website before, but I had no idea that they provided these types of promotions where you could score free crypto! I'll definitely keep an eye out for this when I book my next accomodation with them.

I think this is a great idea this will help in massive expansion of bitcoin and massive adoption of it too what would be great is that they accept bitcoin as a payment option

I did heard of something like this some months ago and was expecting even more.

That's also probabily one of the more reasons on why Bitcoin price rised. I am glad that this is happening.

I will get myself ready for the next time i buy my Hotel entry :P

Thank you for the info ;)

Very good news. This website hotels.com is very popular, not sure about the app but hopefully people now will learn more about bitcoin. They always intend to learn very fast when they hear that they can get some money for free. Sure they will just quickly find out how to open bitcoin wallet :) when they hear that someone want to send them money :)

I don't if companies are that much interested in using Libra. I mean it's like being more and more dependant on Facebook. And that isn't a good thing for any company. And regarding the most recent news on Libra I'm really not sure that it ll be launch anytime soon. Hopefully. This coin is opposite to everything that make crypto one for his kind and valuable : privacy, decentralization, minable by anyone. All this isn't available with Libra...

But about Hotels. Come it's a great news. My only regret : I jjust came back from holiday and used hotel. Com... I wish I had read that post one months earlier lol
