Almubarak001 Posted Saturday at 02:37 PM #1 Posted Saturday at 02:37 PM Should coaches be allowed to coach national team and club?
zyxixerra Posted Saturday at 06:53 PM #2 Posted Saturday at 06:53 PM The workload split always seemed trickier than people think, especially during international breaks when a coach's club players are also his national team guys.
legacyally85 Posted yesterday at 04:27 AM #3 Posted yesterday at 04:27 AM i feel like it really depends on the coach's energy levels but also the depth of both squads, like if youre coaching man city and england thats basically the same core players right? so would that actually make it easier or harder in terms of scouting and tactics do you think?
chevstar65 Posted yesterday at 08:53 AM #4 Posted yesterday at 08:53 AM Honestly it only works if they delegate scouting and fitness monitoring properly, otherwise the dual role just means both teams get a burnt out coach by mid season. I’d say let the assistant handle 90% of the club training drills and just keep the manager for big picture tactics, that way neither side suffers.
