I am looking forward to it and we already had some big clues from GKD about the types of markets that are probly going to be offered. It got me thinking how is sports betting going to influence how I play on Stake, and I wondered how you guys think it will influence you too? I think i'll be playing on Stake more, because I like sports betting so will probably be in stake more. But then I wonder if i will be spending less time playing casino games, as I will end up spending my bankroll on sports betting! But maybe instead, we can get lucky and make some good wins on sports betting then maybe we end up playing even more in casino? If you're someone that already sports bets, do you think you will use Stake for your sports betting? I love Stake so as long as prices are similar to elsewhere I will sports bet on Stake. I will just use sports exchange for live stream, because I like watching live streaming bets. Also it makes me wonder, will Stake have 'in play' betting? That'll be cool. I really wish also that our sports bet wagering will be linked to our BTC wagering in our forum and stake chat stats, finally I can start wagering a bit more that is hope! But yeah, what do you think? If you sports bet currently are you going to be sports betting on Stake? If you don't do you think you will give it a try? How do you think this will impact Stake?!

barbaris Posted June 27, 2019 #3 Posted June 27, 2019 Sports betting and gambling at Stake are two different things. And nothing prevents me from betting here and there. So even more interesting. If you are not lucky in one place, you will probably get lucky in another. So I am waiting for this.

I spend quite a bit of time here as it is, but I don't think having sports betting will change the amount of time I am here, because when I place a sports bet on another site, I log in and place my bet, then log off.... it's not like it would cause me to be here more since the act of making a bet only takes a few seconds. It will however most likely cause me to keep a larger balance on Stake, that way I have funds for betting as well as playing...

This would be a great addition to Stake though most people would still prefer using established sportsbooks like Cloudbet and Sportsbet in this case.
polor12 Posted June 28, 2019 #14 Posted June 28, 2019 stake has to get it. the casino business is a competitive market.. is either go all in with the times.. and just let the money pass by like that.. that would be a stupid move. because having what other sites have keeps the competition even.. the on the thing i think my be the difference is the point spreads.. unless they going with vegas odds.. which most sites do. just can't wait to see what stake will do or add when they add sports betting in the mix.

I will definitely bet on sports that I am familiar with, if they have sports that I watch on the website. It will be a good experience for me, since I've never made sports bets with crypto before.

It could have games and next page with sports to bet. I'm not a big sport gambler, but I would love to try it with cryptocurrency and on stake
Herorhim Posted June 28, 2019 #17 Posted June 28, 2019 I will become way more into sports. I will look up stats and predictions and go for most likely a riskier but not impossible bets. Most likely will go for things like 2.5:1 odds or something along those lines. Never think I'm going to be going for the likely favorites as in my opinion its not worth the risk of losing considering the amount that you win. Sports will definitely change my stake experience and hopefully for the better!

I have never been a fan of sports betting, as I am usually unlucky with is anyways and I just feel like it is a bad decision for me to start. I respect people that use statistics and actually back up their decisions with it, but for me its not worth it to put my money in someone elses hands.
