Hoffguy Posted June 27, 2019 #1 Posted June 27, 2019 I was wondering does anyone have any goals for their Stake play? Like withdraw a certain amount ? Play with a certain amount of discipline? Stop degenning all in / YOLO? Play more on Stake? Or maybe even play a bit less if you play alot already? The reason I ask is in poker it's common for players to do 'prop' bets, where you say you will do something, and if you don't you will lose the bet, it isually works well when two people (that trust each other) do the bet, and they both have something they got to achieve. But sometimes it can work with one person also. Once I did prop bet that if I didn't work out 4x per week for 3 months, with a friend, we would have to eat a tin of dog food. We even bought the dog food. It was good motivator not to fail. Other prop bets are money based people might put up some amount of money that is meaninfgul to them and bet against a friend, if they don't complete their goal, they lose it. My friend even did that with me once, which basically gave me a freeroll, as the bet was one sided. Anyway... I'm not suggesting people start doing these prop bets with random people on Stake. For sure not, that's a sure way to get scammed... but I was wondering in general do you think prop bets are a good way of achieving your goals on Stake? Do you have any goals on Stake at the moment? Do you think prop bets would help you meet them? Have you ever had any prop bets in the past?

I wish to hit 1000x with 10k satoshi, winning 0.1 btc. other one is to hit 5.14m-x on mines, with 40 satoshi, leading to a 2 BTC win. the last one is to achieve 1000 posts, here on forum and become a HERO and maybe later on a VIP.

Etude Posted June 28, 2019 #4 Posted June 28, 2019 Hmm well one of my most wanted goal is probably to have green positive profits on all coins / cryptocurrency on Stake. I also find that it is certainly not easy to muster good self control during gambling, so that would need to be worked on.

polor12 Posted June 28, 2019 #9 Posted June 28, 2019 pretty much and the withdrawn goals are met.. just only a couple high multipliers im aiming for,, sooner or later ill get them.. hopefully sooner then later., time is the only key., with patients also would be a trait,, can't be impatient .. it will just cloud your mind and not keep you focus. without focus you start forgetting the goals that you have set.
williamshennie9 Posted June 28, 2019 #10 Posted June 28, 2019 My goal in the beginning was to reach 1 bitcoin, which I knew would take a very long time to achieve and a lot of patience. I must say, it is so tempting to go all in 2x when you have a decent balance, but I control myself to go slow and steady so that I don't bust.

This would be my goal complete and I would actually be so happy if i got that lucky one day but probably not... But who knows? I could win one bitcoin tomorrow you never know...! I would like to get a 10k$ win here on stake one day. The most I have won from stake is like 1500$ in one sitting. So yeah that's my goal.. To win one bitcoin! Have a good day stakerssss !

I have Done some myself when I was playing poker. worst thing I ever had in a prop bet is that I needed to shave my head entirely bold. but well that turned out well. since then I shave my head most of the times 🤣. Best thing I ever had in a prop bet was a bet on a live event in Vegas. We had a bet with about 5 people. 4 peoples would cover the buy-in if the main event for the person that went deepest in another event we were playing at that time. I manage to goo deepest and the other 4 paid my main event entry. so I was free rolling the event. Luckily I also reached a little above a min cash and made about 20,000$

I will think about it what I really my goal need to achieve and how i not gonna lost all after i won. So many times i just play and greedy want more and more busted. That make a lot of sense. I do need to think about my goal. But right now my goal is You. Hoffy ❤️
