williamshennie9 Posted June 30, 2019 #1 Posted June 30, 2019 Heya everyone So I could not help but notice that when you are on the settings tab on Stake (or even the transactions page), and you click a new section, Stake now reloads the entire page just to take you to that section. If you look at the screenshot, I am on the preferences tab of settings. Now when I click Tokens for example, it reloads the page. This has only been happening since the update. It is super frustrating for me, because firstly my internet is not the greatest, and also, when I have a bunch of tabs open in the chat (when I PM users), they all go away, and I have to reopen each one. Could one of the developers please look into this? I mean if there is a good reason to have the page reload each time, I'll understand, but it's getting super annoying. What do you guys think about this? Have any of you even noticed it, or just me? I would love to hear what you all think
cryptonesiac Posted June 30, 2019 #2 Posted June 30, 2019 It annoys me a lot... Hope they can fix this in the near future.
ZiraGambles Posted June 30, 2019 #3 Posted June 30, 2019 I have definitely noticed. Thought it was good until my internet started being slow and now it takes 3x longer to play. I love Stake but its a let down that this type of thing is happening
Burgerwcheese Posted June 30, 2019 #4 Posted June 30, 2019 Mine doesn't seem to be doing that at all...thats really odd....hopefully you get sorted out though bro

But it sure is a little bit irritating to get used to. Okay, I am very relieved to see that I am not the only one having this. It is super frustrating as I don't have a very fast internet connection. I don't see what was wrong with the way it used to be.
htetaungxx Posted June 30, 2019 #6 Posted June 30, 2019 i just happen like that yesterday. but i did yesterday update. and now i'm ok. but still allittle lagging and if more lagging like that auto reloading is still happen.

Its kinda making things slower than the usual for me. I mean, I feel like its not necessary for the page to load up everytime. Just like the example you gave on the screen shot. Going on to each tabs or options without reloading should be better. 👌👌👌
yololife222 Posted June 30, 2019 #8 Posted June 30, 2019 Hey, yeah the same thing is on primedice i always hawe to click sound off, max bett on and hotkeys on like all the damn time when error shows up too, so frustraiting. hawent got the problemn yet on stake and hopefully it wont happen to me.
barbaris Posted June 30, 2019 #9 Posted June 30, 2019 I experienced the same inconvenience yesterday and after rebooting the browser, the problems disappeared, and today it has not been repeated. Perhaps there were temporary problems.
Etude Posted June 30, 2019 #10 Posted June 30, 2019 Yeah I did realise this when I first saw even the My Bets id page are constantly being updated with bets done with for instance using Dice bot which the bets are done through api upon every click on site now.
CntryBoy Posted June 30, 2019 #11 Posted June 30, 2019 I agree this is very annoying! Yesterday when I was playing, if I would switch from auto bet to manual and vice versa, the page would reload as well, resetting all of my bet settings and such. It did not happen every time, but just at random. Also, during the Telegram Challenge yesterday, every time the challenge changed to a different game the page would reload while changing games and would kick me back to the main chat room, instead of the Challenges room I had been in. I really hope there is a quick fix coming for this!
Sped Posted June 30, 2019 #12 Posted June 30, 2019 It only pisses me off when this happens, because it ruins autobet and it is constantly happening and frustrating. I thought a mod or admin would have found this error and fixed it faster but they are trying their bests!
crismikeyy Posted June 30, 2019 #13 Posted June 30, 2019 I find it difficult to reload the page after every click. I hope the development team will update and revise this in the earliest update.
Administrator Steve Posted June 30, 2019 Administrator #14 Posted June 30, 2019 For anyone experiencing this issue there are 2 solutions Close all Stake.com tabs and reopen. Clear cache if that didn't work Or hard refresh your browser - https://www.getfilecloud.com/blog/2015/03/tech-tip-how-to-do-hard-refresh-in-browsers/#.XRk3oehKhPa
Paecga129 Posted July 1, 2019 #15 Posted July 1, 2019 I haven’t noticed this happening to me at all. Although I have not been online very often either. I am on safari on the iPhone and I don’t have any reload problems. I see Steve have some really good tips I bet will help remedy this problem if I do come across it !
77kdub Posted July 1, 2019 #16 Posted July 1, 2019 I haven't had that issue but I do notice things are much more laggy since the new update it seems.
Enzo Posted July 1, 2019 #17 Posted July 1, 2019 Usually this happens when Devs push new front end code for the site. It's normal and should go away after 2-4 times of doing it. Atleast in my expierence that's how it's worked. Never had it last more then 2-4 times whilst playing.
bobdole Posted July 1, 2019 #18 Posted July 1, 2019 I'm getting the same problem, even when switching to autobet in a game the whole page reloads. So now if I click to many thing I get the error message ratethrottle and stops me from doing anything because it thinks im a bot or something with so many refreshs.
Kate Posted July 1, 2019 #19 Posted July 1, 2019 Yeah it does but it doesnt bother me that much but it would be better to make it not reloadable since people with limited net could find it useful since they dont need to use a lot of their data.
polor12 Posted July 1, 2019 #20 Posted July 1, 2019 for them resetting it automatically,, will it harm anything,, i mean would it affect the game play.,. or change anything by any chance.. to me seems to be good thing.to keep refreshing the page will help probably the lag., or something more.. no harm is good thing right..
Aazzah Posted July 1, 2019 #21 Posted July 1, 2019 Yeah i noticed this straight away. It was getting rather bothersome as well, as my pc is basically a potato. It just takes a while to load anyway that's why it was getting annoying
ceastem Posted July 1, 2019 #22 Posted July 1, 2019 It does not occur to me. I tried this today because of the dice challenge and I needed the token. Maybe it's fixed already? If it wasn't fixed already, it would have been shitty since I don't like to refresh my live stats for my other game. Haha
williamshennie9 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #23 Posted July 1, 2019 Hmm, it seems like right after I made this post, the issue went away. Now the tabs do not cause the page to reload. I guess the devs saw this post and quickly changed it back Everyone else got this fixed too?
DanielRandomDud Posted July 1, 2019 #24 Posted July 1, 2019 ooh i noticed this during races. If i am correct its due to overload.
Moderator truemeng Posted July 1, 2019 Moderator #25 Posted July 1, 2019 this issue has been fixed and steve has given the solution. 😊 locking this topic now.
