Sped Posted July 1, 2019 #1 Posted July 1, 2019 In almost every single other gamemode on stake, you are able to test tickets or just play with 0 balance on the game, except for roulette. Is there a certain reason for this, for why you can't bet 0 on roulette, or is it simply the fact that they didn't want to make a chip with 0 value on it. I think that it would be really cool to see, because after I rip on roulette I like to see how many hits it would have taken too hit the multiplier i was going for. Let me know what you think!
barbaris Posted July 1, 2019 #2 Posted July 1, 2019 For these bets you can use 0.00000001 doge coin which is practically zero. I do not see much point in adding a zero chip to the roulette. Although I may be mistaken, it may be really necessary for someone.

I only have been playing roulette if it was integrated in the daily telegram challenge. and mostly I just bet with 1 or another tiny bet just to bet with something. so I cannot say 0 bets aren't possible and I do not know the reason why 0 bets aren't possible

They don't want you to see after you totally bust Just kidding of course since you could use any other amount with other currencies which has almost no value at all and do this thing. Maybe it's roulette takes more resources than any other game and they don't want people to play for free? Or maybe i's such attractive game that they worry that people would play for free just for fun? (ok I'm kidding with this one lol)

Yes this is what I do if there is a challenge or something for roulette. You can claim the faucet and very easily make your bets with this super tiny amount of doge.

But yes, would be interesting to know the specific reason why stake did not allowed us to roll with zero bet. At this particular moment i will think that, the only reason why they do this is just to disturb you (just kidding). Have a good luck in your gambling dear community.
Etude Posted July 1, 2019 #8 Posted July 1, 2019 Well from how I see it, you are required to put 1 chip on each of the bet you make on Roulette so in order to have one chip you require a balance for it with the very lowest denominator at the least.

GKD09 Posted July 2, 2019 #13 Posted July 2, 2019 Reading through the comments I didn't really see any reason but here's my reason to there being no 0 bets on Roulette and Baccarat in that case. All other games have a constant multiplier. For example Dice, Limbo where you choose a multiplier and roll, or games like Plinko, Video Poker and Keno where each roll could have various multipliers for each roll with the same settings however. But when it comes to Roulette and Baccarat the multiplier is based on where and how much you bet on each number, or side in the case of Baccarat. In Roulette, betting an amount on one number, would give you a 36x if hit and much more if you hit that number with various combinations such as it being a red/black or even/od or a particular row. Also the other way around if you bet on multiple numbers on Roulette the multiplier decreases. In Baccarat too, you must bet on some side if not there will be no outcome as opposed to something like Diamond Poker where each outcome has its own multiplier. Based on the ratios you bet and the sides you bet you get a different payout. So basically it's impossible for any roll to give you a payout since there is no winning possibility without betting on something. That's probably the reason why. To those complaining about doing roll hunts on Roulette, just choose the 1 coin using Doge and bet. Don't tell me you don't have Doge You get enough from rains or just use the faucet, it'll be enough for days lol. Since we're on this topic itself, and if you're curious about the payouts @Flansca mod had posted about these two games and how to calculate their payouts to some extent and it works very well. So cheers to him for that!
