What do you think of your Bankroll Management?

Hey everyone! So I would like to ask as to what do you think of your own level of adeptness in terms of Bankroll Management during Gambling sessions?

Typically I find it difficult to handle a large size bankroll and tend to end up making silly bets out of impulsiveness for a quick thrill from the big bet, more often than not it does not turn out well. For me though, I feel like a good level of Bankroll Management is to be able to make sound decision when handling losses and keeping to a calculated bet sized in accordance to your bankroll size which in turn keeps you above water in the long run hopefully even when your luck does not to be shining too bright at the moment. I think it very well comes back to self-control, discipline and knowledge of what percentages of your bankroll size should be your bet amounts.

Would love to hear your inputs on this matter everyone! ;)

Having a big balance for me is harder to maintain than a low one, so I mostly lose everything when I am on the edge of a bigger balance

I have a bad bankroll management to be honest, I tend to increase more and more my base bet than the intended amount because of thinking that I have a huge balance then I start to get streaks of red and before I know it the huge balance was gone. :/

I would have to say my bankroll management is pretty good right now, and has come a long way in the last few months.  When I first started playing on sites like Stake, my bankroll management was horrible!  I was always looking for the big win and not really taking strategy into account.  Over time I have learned the importance of managing my play and bankroll to be able to sustain longer sessions and more profit.  Back when I started, I would make larger deposits and go for the quick big hit, and it would end in losses more than wins.  Nowadays, I tend to make smaller deposits and try to build to larger amounts...

Right? From what I see most people having trouble with self control too when they start to have a rather large sized bankroll, it is just all too easy to start making bets which are just over the budget within the size of your bankroll in hopes of increasing it but in all likelyhood it would decrease instead. :o

I always become a loser every day. I always try to play when I'm winning. I can't control my money and go bankrupt. I think I will have to start learning how to manage my profit every time I win.

This is just a false sentence, there is no such thing as a knowledge of how much you should bet. If you bet much you can win/lose much, and same for betting low. This does not change the chances of winning since you won't ever know the result of a next bet. If you bet low you might lose a chance to get big wins in a first few shots, and same for betting big amounts, you might encounter a series of losses and then boom, ur balance is gone. It's all about luck. No strategies exist.

you had a problem.,, and you found a solution for your problem...in other words. what ever decision you make.. is up to you.. might be right and could be wrong.. living through it. and learning from it.. and not blaming others for your actions., everyone do need to learn self control.. when it comes t gambling.. people need to be 3 steps ahead in  a way... knowing what would happen if.. thinking about the scenarios if you choose going one way or the other.... is very difficult to do that.. cause no one wants to think ahead,, always for the now.. and deal with the rewards that comes with the consequences.

My bankroll management is quite TERRIBLE. I'd like to start using the vault as a way of managing it but I don't know how that would help me considering I can just withdraw and wait 5 minutes for the email to come. That would maybe calm me down whilst I'm waiting so i'm less likely to rage bet. I also tend to get angry and claim rakeback no matter the size when I'm losing. Sometimes it tends to help, most times it doesn't and just makes me cocky/over-confident.

I am the person who can control the bank roll by playing save and looking for a very large payout if I don't get it in tens of thousands of roll I will stop and look for profit from the game that gives 2x payout

Undoubtedly, feelings control people. And to win you need to have nerves of steel and a clear mind. I am a gambler and in most cases when you lose over me possess feelings and I want to recoup, thereby losing an even larger amount...

I fully agree with the author of this article. I can't help myself when I have a big Bank... And most of the time I flirt and put pretty big bets. And it's in all the casinos. It is necessary to learn to manage balance, I actively learn it

It is so hard to maintain a very positive bankroll because of the kind of people we are. Most of us are filled with greed, so when we have a big balance, our bank roll is always in a mess, and we make stupid mistakes that can make us bust indefinitely. But when we have  a small balance, we have a way to mange our bankroll, then it becomes big and then cash out.

Bank roll management is a very very hard feature, that is so hard to study and maintain. Sometimes, you just decide you want to win big on a 1.10x bet and then you wager more than 2/3rd of your balance, on just a single bet and you end up losing that big balance, then you go on trying to recover and then eventually you lose all on a particular streak of red.

Greed is a great enemy to our bank roll management.

I consider my bankroll management pretty well. I do not use BR management on stake cause I do not gamble that big amounts on stake. But in poker and sport betting where I bet much more I handle a very strict bank roll management. I thing BR management is one of the most important keys to become a profitable gambler certainly in gambling where you have a little control over your placed bets or do require some skill. I think on casino games it has no use to manage your bankroll very strict cause in the end you bust anyway
