Is race a profit ?

i think it honestly depends on your strategy, i've been watching a lot of streamers. Some play crazy bets 98% win chance and get bust and some do small but smart bets and they profit + get good places on race.

Races would only be profitable if you are able to snag within the top 5 spots which is quite so positive EV. Other than that can be said to be similar to a small percentage rakeback of your wagered amounts when competing with others in the races.

personally i see this like sort of rake-back for wagering a good amount of money and mostly end up losing all.

in the other way when the top wagered didnt lose their money its a reward for playing risky.

Yes, it has been profitable to me.  I am not a high roller but once in a while I bet more than I suppose to do and having pretty good results.  The true is that, I have stopped to chase first places because I don`t have enough balance for all the race, those 2 hours races are quite dangerous, but I go slow knocking the last of the 100 positions, during that time then I occasionally increase the bet and do fine.  Then, I am present in the races, I have fun and make some little profit.  Win win.  Good luck.

In my opinion it is all about profit for Stake, which it should be given that they are in business to make money.  It takes a lot of luck to finish very high on the race leader board while wagering large amounts, as well as end up making a profit during the race time.  Let's say that the top 5 or so racers wager a combined 100 BTC during the race.  It could be much more or less than that, but just using it as an example.  Even if Stake profits the amount of the house edge during the race, which is around a total of 1%, that is 1 BTC that Stake is making, or roughly $11,000USD at the current price, and they are paying $5000 USD in race prizes... you do the math.  And that doesn't include all the money they make off of all other players, that is just the top 5..

I thinks it's a brilliant marketing strategy on Stakes part.  Of course stake is profiting from the races but I don't think that is their soul purpose of holding the races.  Even though most of us ending busting more then the prize we are chasing but I have to admit it is a lot of fun win or lose.  I think it's also a way to attract new players for Stake.   The races are just one more great unique feature you won't find anywhere else,  I think the  races benefit both stake & the players.

We never know but i'm sure there are some top wagered players are not in profit on the race. On stake position, it's both profit and giveaway. We don't know though is it profit or not because stake would not give the information lol.

depening on what game and what strategy you use. if you play 1.01x on dice or limbo. you will bust. baccarat also is good for slowly down. some people use 2x.

Pretty sure all the positions in the races are negative ev, its mostly done for entertainment and friendly competition. Stake no doubt turns over profit after each race.

Well, I profited from races just once  100% safe just wagering strategy simply doesn't exist
