Aazzah Posted July 3, 2019 #1 Posted July 3, 2019 I have noticed some of my friends want to enjoy their balance. I want to enjoy it but at the same time i want to make profit quick. I don't really have the patience to sit here for a while betting small amounts. I like the hype and the excitement of winning big. I do sometimes though... I bet small amounts for a larger multiplier but i prefer to bet bigger and win quicker. What do you do, do you enjoy your balance and play small or do you bet big and want to win quicker?
wngo123 Posted July 3, 2019 #2 Posted July 3, 2019 Quote What do you do, do you enjoy your balance and play small or do you bet big and want to win quicker? I never keep my balance for longer than one day. I prefer to give myself a chance, small one but still a chance and risk everything and win big instead of going up slowly with the balance. Why? It comes from experience. Long time ago, at the beginning of stake I used to play VERY careful and spend HOURS playing with small bets even as mall as 1 - 100 satoshi. One time I was able - believe it or not - to come in one day with 100 satoshi bets to 30k and then go with 1000 satoshi bets to 1 million satoshi! It took me hours but I did that and I was very proud of myself, but then my mind went totally crazy and greedy and I thought that 1 million satoshi is so much that I can do whatever I want and there is no way I will loose my balance, so I began to do some experiments. Of course I was very naive and unexperienced gambler and I did the worst thing that could be done, I thought I will always win. within 40 minutes I lost 1 million satoshi, the million I spent hours to get to. At that point I was exhausted and very depressed that I just lost a lot of time. Since then I said to myself that I will never play too safe or keep my balance. I will instead play risky and just spend no more than 2 hours per day on stake. If i win that's fine , if I loose that's ok. But I'm not going to keep my balance either. I'm here for the big win, so I don't care. I once went from faucet (ETH) to 0.09 ETH and every other gambler would call it a day. People would say just relax man, enjoy your balance for a while. Think about the strategy what to do next and how to double the balance. And yes here I should just keep that balance, but I decided to make another mistake as usual, I used the same strategy I had to get from 0 to 0.09 ETH. Of course it didn't work. It never works. You need to either stop playing or at least try to change your strategy because you will loose. And I lost everything. So usually I can't keep my balance for longer than one day even if I win. But I'm ok with that because I am here for big win. I want to win a couple of thousands of dollars or $1000 minimum. I don't care about anything less. So I play risky, and get my balance down to zero very fast.
williamshennie9 Posted July 3, 2019 #3 Posted July 3, 2019 I tend to play on Stake with small bets and going for small multipliers. I know it won't make me rich overnight, but I prefer the slow and steady method of gambling over the get rich quick method
GKD09 Posted July 3, 2019 #4 Posted July 3, 2019 On the topic of enjoying your balance, I hate the opposite of not having any balance or having a very small balance. I started with a small deposit and went up by around 25x that deposit. I eventually lost it doing some stupid bets and I was so disappointed to see my balance so low. I even deposited once or twice more but was so tempted to get it back up and lost it again, to the point where I deposited and decided to play slow. I am now up and recovered a lot and sitting with this balance really makes me feel comfortable. So I will play smaller bets and when I feel it is enough I will withdraw, but I will keep a decent amount too so I don't feel uncomfortable and try to get it back up. We all would love to win quicker but we all know how that ends too I'm going to play safer and more carefully now and hopefully won't bust much. So yes I am one who enjoys having a nice balance and wagering smaller amounts until I am able to withdraw.
CntryBoy Posted July 3, 2019 #5 Posted July 3, 2019 I tend to normally deposit fairly small amounts, say 100k sats or so and try to build it up mainly using smaller bet amounts with big multipliers. On occasion, I will deposit bigger and play a bit more risky, looking for that decent sized quick win. It all depends how I feel at that given time, and also how much I can afford to lose that usually determines my playing style for that session.
bobdole Posted July 4, 2019 #6 Posted July 4, 2019 I mean I'd like to make a profit but I also don't want to just lose everything immediately. I do have the patience to gamble for a very long time but only because I think it's fun. If you don't enjoy it and are here purely for money then big bets in relation to your balance are the way to go.
cryptofly Posted July 4, 2019 #7 Posted July 4, 2019 I have a greed issue when betting, so I started to use the vault in order to do exactly what this post is about, stop do small bets and make one step forward increasing bets. Wish me luck and I will be working in my greed control. I have been doing that "vault" thing nearly a month, soon will be time to start my personal project increasing bets. I will keep you posted. Good luck.
neich Posted July 4, 2019 #8 Posted July 4, 2019 hm i guess i play on both ways from time to time. my most highroller hits came out of bigger amount bets for sure. but most of the time im playing small and "enjoy" my balance,.
artizykristy Posted July 4, 2019 #9 Posted July 4, 2019 I prefer to play with a small balance and look for a big payout, because when you get it there must be a feeling of happiness, especially when there are names in highrollers who only use small bets
ozcelik06 Posted July 4, 2019 #10 Posted July 4, 2019 In fact, when we reach a 1.5x multiple of the right starting point in gambling, we must leave. Most of us cannot achieve this but I think 1.5x is a great success.
Etude Posted July 4, 2019 #11 Posted July 4, 2019 I have come to realise that the desire of wanting to quickly make a profit often leads to busting eventually as carelessness and recklessness will both begin to happen.
SLFJ Posted July 4, 2019 #12 Posted July 4, 2019 Oh when I have a pretty much big balance I don't go and just waste it cause it's money, and money doesn't grow on trees but I try my luck everyday, not with huge bets, low-medium mostly and see if the luck is good I keep the bet, if the luck is bad I decrease it 3x, and don't go crazy when you lose like 4 consecutive games, thats just how gambling goes.
polor12 Posted July 4, 2019 #13 Posted July 4, 2019 having a bigger amount is the key and main reason for gambling. that reason alone can describe most of the players desires to keep playing more.. always wanting more.. never less..the phrase the more the merrier..cannot say enough is enough,, is never enough.. is an appetite that cannot be filled in any sitting.. even the riches people in the world still wants to get richer.. can we call that greed.. only the poor can call that greed..

Most of the time ... nada. Good luck either way . Cheers. e
Burgerwcheese Posted July 5, 2019 #16 Posted July 5, 2019 Every gambler wants to win big, but most also know that there’s no real thrill without the possibility of loss, too. At the same time, most of us don’t want to endure too much risk: maybe you’re on a tight gambling budget, or perhaps you just get nervous every time you lose a couple bets in a row. People often have a misconception that since gambling is based on chance one could still win something significant if one gambles conservatively. What they tend to miss, however, is the fact that this chance is a mathematical one. Gambling is based on probabilities, meaning the more one plays, the more chances one has of winning. Being a high-risk gambler means that you have more chances, and therefore reap more rewards. High-risk gambling means gambling with a considerable amount of money as your bankroll. Say, instead of just bringing in a few thousand, you bring in tens of thousands. This makes it possible for you to win against chance, by being able to play a game several times. While it might be true that in gambling, the more one invests, there is also a greater chance of losing, one must take into consideration that this also means a greater chance of winning. Conservative gamblers therefore have little chances of winning, and therefore, bigger losses in the long run. If you do consider high-risk gambling or is already a high-risk gambler, the safest course of action is to invest in pure chance-based games. Games like slots, bingo, and dice takes how much you put in and how often you play into consideration. For example, if there is a 1 in 10,000 chance of hitting the jackpot in a slot machine, then playing 10,000 times would give you a chance of at least winning once. While strategic gambling games like poker do offer a sure chance of winning if one has the skill, it does not, however, put your bankroll into efficient use. In these games, there is a level playing field, since skill and strategy are the ones that really matter, and not how much you put in. Since it is also time-consuming, you will tend to play less, and therefore take less advantage of mathematical chance. Try to avoid strategic games. It is much better to invest in semi-chance games like roulette, since these games do take into consideration how often you play. Remember: high-risk gambling does not mean being careless. Do not re-bet your winnings at once, exhaust your initial bankroll first. If you do win, try to re-invest only a percentage of it, in order to be sure that you at least gain your initial bankroll back. After you have exhausted your initial bankroll, try to assess your situation. In which games did you win the most? In which games did you win the least? This will help you in deciding where to play in your next gambling session. Gambling is based on a mathematical chance, meaning the more times one play, the more chances one will win. High-risk gambling offers you success against chance, by having a chance to play several times. If you consider high-risk gambling, try to avoid strategic games like poker as these do not abuse mathematical chance. Instead, invest in pure chance-based games, since these games take into consideration how many times you play. High-risk gamblers might seem to lose large amounts, but at the end of the day, one will see that it is all worth it.
DaDude Posted July 5, 2019 #17 Posted July 5, 2019 its weird cause i always want to risk it for a higher amount!!!!! dont you??
jinz Posted July 5, 2019 #18 Posted July 5, 2019 It depends on what is my mood (calm betting or risky betting) and how lucky I feel. I tend to bet smaller to test my luck first and I bet bigger amount if I think I am confident that the next bet was going to be green.
laron Posted July 5, 2019 #19 Posted July 5, 2019 I prefer a bet with a little balance but use a hit on the payout that is bigger than a bet with a big BB but use a small payout because in my opinion it is very risky
Kate Posted July 5, 2019 #20 Posted July 5, 2019 Enjoy my balance to be honest becausei come here to have fun most of the time not to win . But people who come here on a serious note for winning they would go for large risk.
