The possibilities are truly endless. So, for you personally, do you use stake as a way to truly make money, or as a way to have fun pass time, and maybe if your lucky take 50 dollars home for some mcdonalds. I have seen mostly plat stars that deposit consistently every single week, trying to make some serious cash with strats or whatever they have, and then those that scavenge for rains and tips and play with that. So you personally, do you deposit a lot and try to win some cash for yourself, or are you here to just waste away at your seemingly boring day?
barbaris Posted July 3, 2019 #2 Posted July 3, 2019 Well, probably everyone comes to the casino to earn, or rather win. But not everyone succeeds. Basically for me it is a way to kill time, and if you're lucky enough to earn money. Stake is a unique place where you can earn and have fun.

I'm also looking for friends and friends .. life is not all about money ... ... community is also very important

Having fun is very important as well, and often the two go hand in hand. While it is a way to pass the time, we all are kidding ourselves if we say we are only here for a good time.
bobdole Posted July 4, 2019 #5 Posted July 4, 2019 It's a fun pass time for me to lose income lol but some people are able to earn quite a bit here. But for me it's great because even though it's repetitive, it doesn't get boring because you win some and lose some.

The casino is a business, for profit. There is a sure-thing formula for the house, and its simple math at the end of the day. No matter what - no matter the strategy - the house will eventually win over the course of time. So I cant see it as a source of income but rather I see it as an expense for my entertainment. Cheers.

Some people take gambling too serios and invest so much and then end up living on street or suiciding..
williamshennie9 Posted July 4, 2019 #9 Posted July 4, 2019 I gamble for entertainment, and I mostly expect to lose when I gamble. I don't know anyone who has made money out of casinos without cheating (e.g. counting cards), due to the house edge.

These days I'm just home with my family and most of my friends are abroad in university. Since Im on vacation, and don't really have anything to do, I play video games. But often I get bored of that too, so I started gambling mainly for fun but definitely to make money. The fact that I make money is what makes it much more fun, and the thrill to make some more bucks from a fairly small sum. Over the many number of years of gambling online, I tried not to lose much and it has worked out well. So I always try to continue it when I'm free and play real slow
Paecga129 Posted July 7, 2019 #12 Posted July 7, 2019 For me it is def a fun pass time. I do not earn very much when I play cuz I am usually not very smart enough to cash out when I should. I consider it more of a game than a real currency. I do not make very much of a deposit now days so can’t really earn too much this way. People who use it as an income usually have a much bigger starting balance than I do.

But like others are saying, it would never be something to consider as a 'money maker'. At most, a pleasant surprise along the way when it happens. If we were certain of winning, then it wouldn't be called 'gambling', i suppose.
jualid Posted July 7, 2019 #14 Posted July 7, 2019 I consider gambling as a way to earn an income. I think gambling for fun is hard, i mean you risk your own money on gambling and when you lose the money, it's not fun anymore to gambling because you lost all your money on gambling.
