What Is Your Go-to Strategy?

I've noticed that a lot of people have some interesting strategies that they share on chat but it's always a bit confusing to follow without any context and when chat is moving so quickly. I don't really have any strategies myself and kinda just play games at random but it's not really working for me as of late.

So I wanted to ask the Stake Community: What is your go-to strategy? Doesn't matter what game or methods just share the one that works out for you the best and hopefully you guys can help out me and the rest of stake to "play smarter"! :D

The martingale is my go-to, not by choice. When I start losing I compulsively and irrationally start hopping straight into it and going so far but then suddenly busting after a 7 lose streak. Play smarter by not playing martingale (at least uncontrolled martingale).

instead choosing  black or red on roulette with a big all in bet. you break it down and bet 4 numbers.. not all in of course,, but you can make more times then doubling it.. is not fun doing one bet and hoping it hits.. well i guess anything to hit that HR mark.. but if you going to roulette play it to the full extent of the game.. you can get to HR easily and not lose as much..

For me I moving around all games mode which I can get profit and I change another game when i hit too much lose strikes. if you want to grinding money. Playing strategy is an second thing to be considered. First thing I would like to recommend is to learn how to save money. I set my goal to farm and maximum amount I can lose for a day. I stop playing for a day when I hit one of these targets.

If I like to Build balance, then I would go on hi-lo, cause I'd bet on very low numbers like Aces, Kings, 2's,3's, Queens, Jacks, just in my personal opinion it's a really good strat for building your balance up, but if you'd like another strategy then I would say 98%  dice on low. Mines, probably choose 5 mines put it on auto, increase on lose 120%. Those are just some good strategies in my opinion, not sure if it will work for you too, cuz you might not have the luck of the strategies so that's all.

If you know anything about which casino games are recommended then you know keno is at the very bottom of the list along with all other lottery style games. So how can playing keno be a good strategy to recommend in place of other games?  Well, as a regular gambling activity it’s still not recommended but most people when calculating just how bad keno is usually go after the large pick options and don’t look at the probabilities on the lower pick options.  But there is another component to this “insane” strategy.

First, let’s take a look at the worst and best case scenarios. In a typical keno game you can usually select 2 numbers to 10 numbers. The rule of thumb is that the more numbers you pick the worse your chances of winning become, although the payoff odds improve. Who would not want to pick 10 numbers that are drawn in keno?  Of course, that is the appeal behind keno and most players seem to go for the big win rather than the more achievable wins.

If you are going to play keno you had better do some number crunching and look at which pick options offer the best chances for winning.

The fewer numbers you are required to choose in order to get at least 2 winning combinations the better. Say, for example, you can play a Pick 5 and win for 5 numbers, 4 numbers, and 3 numbers. That’s a pretty good payback spread. It’s not great, most modern slot machine games offer better theoretical returns to player, but you’re in the realm of 70% to 75% RTP with this kind of option. If you can play a Pick 4 you might feel that’s a little less risky. In fact, in some versions of the game Pick 4 offers the second best theoretical return to player. Among the numerous money management schemes that gaming pundits recommend to players is to slow down your rate of play.

Playing perfect basic strategy while playing blackjack can help you reduce the house edge by 3% or more. The house rules have a great deal to do with the overall house edge but no matter what the rules, if you play using the best strategy you'll save money in the long run.

This gives you the best chance to have a winning session every time you play and it helps you lose less when you have losing sessions.

Blackjack strategy cards and charts are available online and in some stores.

This one may be a bit out there for some, especially if you gamble because you enjoy the action.

I have a friend who uses a unique system or strategy every time he takes a trip to Las Vegas. He divides his bankroll by the number of days on the trip and bets the entire stake for each day on a close to 50 / 50 wager at the beginning of the day.

If he wins the bet he puts the original wager in his pocket for profit and plays the rest of the day with his win. When he loses he does something else all day.

Here's an example:

He starts with a $2,000 bankroll for a five day trip. This gives him a daily bankroll of $400. Every day when he gets up he finds a single zero roulette wheel and places a $400 bet on red or black or even or odd. When he wins he puts his $400 in his pocket and gambles with the $400 he won.

On an average trip he'll win two or three of the five first bets so he'll come home with $800 to $1,200 almost every trip. Of course over the long run he may have a few times where he doesn't get to gamble at all besides the first bets of the day.

After this happened the first time he considered changing his plan so he'd be guaranteed a chance to gamble more, but he decided to stick with his original plan.

A few things he considered doing differently:

You can divide your trip bankroll by an extra day creating an extra amount you can use if you lose your original wager two days in a row.

In the example above you'd divide $2,000 by six for a daily bankroll of $333. If you lose your first bet both of the first two days you can play with your extra $333 that day.

The other thing you can do is recycle your winnings from earlier days when you lose the first bet.

Here's an example:

If you win your first bet on day one you can use the money you put in your pocket to play on a day when you lose the first wager.

You'll also win some days with the money you gamble with throughout the day. You can use that money to play later on your trip too.

I don't really have a go to strategy at the moment.

I want to try making %10 of my balance a day, reinvesting that %10 profit everyday, i've heard, even with a low starting balance. You can make quite a nice sum of money after a month or two. For example 0.005 BTC making %10 a day, reinvesting the profit, and continuing day by day, skipping weekends. You will make over 1 btc in 2 months.

same with you, friend ... I also don't have a good strategy to play, produce wins ... I only play randomly at every game ...

there is a strategy that I have seen in various media such as youtube ... but the strategy like that can only be used by some people or maybe only me who is less fortunate to use that strategy ... hmm ...

maybe there are friends, masters or anyone who wants to share the strategy ???

I hope that with you friends ... I hope there is a good strategy from some input from our friends who might be more experienced than us

I normally go dice or mines and bet 1/10th of my balance. I normally go for 2x on dice and double bet until i win 3 in a row.

For mines, I go 1/10th of my balance. Again. And aim for a 13.8x multiplier.

I don't really play with much strategy. I tend to focus on having a good bank roll management system in order to monitor my wins and losses. Managing the amount I wager each time has been more profitable for me than following a strategy.

My goto strategy is very simple, to get a as high as possible multiplier / payout in HiLo by using a decent basebet typically starting out with streaks of cards such as AAA or more including AAAA and above. :P

Ok I can feel your frustration bob,  I too was in the same kind of a rut until recently I discovered something that seems to work for me 95% of the time when I have a small bankroll & want to build it up.  As much as I'm not a big fan of dice simply because it bores me it seems to be the best game to build up your bankroll.  so for example let's say I'm starting out with 10k sats I would start with a base bet of 250 sats and set the payout to somewhere around 11x if the side you pick isn't hitting switch also if nothing is hitting rotate your seed or adjust your multiplier.  From my experience dice seems to hit in patterns so if you can get a feel and predict the pattern then you're good to go. Good lucks Mr. Dole!  😛

Speaking of playing smarter: I believe you should always allocate a point you would like to reach, and a point which you would feel uncomfortable losing more. Because the more you lose after that, you are going to get more and more pissed and start rage betting.

There are no real safe strats sadly. Even a normal martingale can we safe for few hours for one and be horrible in the first 50 rolls for another. But if you set a stop and a target for any strategy, I think thats how playing smarter works.

Consider your deposited money lost and any win above your deposit is a bonus - don't get too attached to it and then start trying to get back your losses to get your balance to the highest it was. I really think surviving and playing smart has a lot to do with discipline and psychology. Of course there is the luck factor, but you first need to minimize your losses so you have more chances to survive and get lucky :)

I don't have any particular strat but I tend to keep targets and stops and play any game from mines, blackjack, video poker, bit of keno or hilo. If you lose, just forget it!

I really have no strategy ....when i get online n deposit  i just tell myself cmon fuckin numbers gimmie those heavy hitters.....pic my numbers usually bet an 8th of my balance n see what kinda day its gonna b ......lately its just been bad days lol

I realized that everyone always won when they first started. So try to achieve the target profit and stop as soon as you reach the target. Do not continue playing or use profits to continue playing. Emotional control is also an effective tactic.

Well my Go-to strategy at the moment is to catch a 9900x payout on Dice with 100-200 sats. It will take some time but I feel Imma get it, I use Keno too playing Medium-risk and picking random numbers every time, or with many other patterns I have. I play Mines when I have a small balance like about 10-50k sats and most of the time in Mines I try to bet half of my balance and hit something if I’m lucky if not I bust and try again.

That might take some time in Dice, although its a good multiplier to chase, kinda lame that I getting this multiplier when I bet randomly on lower ones. Good luck!lol

great topic, my best go to strategy is on dice to hunt 1000k x multipliers usually it will win before 1kx sometimes it doenst but if it doesn't I just try again with lower base bet, and always start with like 3,000 times my base bet to make sure if first time dont win can try again lower base bet. Sometimes unlucky but many times can win and get some nice wins on dice!

im not playing with any strat. i tryed martingale a few times on different games but its not working for me.

im just hunting big multiplier with (the most time) small amounts.

sometimes with bigger bets i hunt smaller payouts.
