SLFJ Posted July 5, 2019 #1 Posted July 5, 2019 How often do you bust in Stake and how do you feel afterwards? Do you do stupid things after busting all of your satoshis? What's the worst thing you've done after busting? I would love to hear your stories, since I sometimes get a bit mad after losing all of my hardly built up balance which is sad, I wonder what you Stakers do after busting 😃.
jamesbond Posted July 5, 2019 #2 Posted July 5, 2019 I normally bust every 2 to 3 days but never gets too mad about it, but yes I do make bad moves like doing rage betting even if I keep busting, but I still take it as a part of game
yololife222 Posted July 5, 2019 #3 Posted July 5, 2019 Hey, I ussually bust almost every time i deposit so its like every week or so, i hawent done any thing bad once riped 0.037btc in one bett all in was mad but didnt do any thing, cuse i always think if i break some thing it will make it worst so i just sit in my chair and stair at stake chat angry or i just leav.
GKD09 Posted July 5, 2019 #4 Posted July 5, 2019 2 hours ago, SLFJ said: How often do you bust in Stake and how do you feel afterwards? Busting completely is not my way usually. However after I came to Stake I busted 3 times fully after a nice long profit. This is of course without normal losses but completely busting. I think most of us feel like shit after busting, specially when you all in and miss the win, which you normally could win (like a 50% chance or more). I don't do stupid things after losing, I just feel bad since this money is all that had come from profits on other sites but hard earned there. So I just re-deposit. 2 hours ago, SLFJ said: I would love to hear your stories, since I sometimes get a bit mad after losing all of my hardly built up balance which is sad, I wonder what you Stakers do after busting 😃. We all do, and my only suggestion is to always keep a stop amount. Say you're at 54k sats and you want to play with 4k to try and increase it, you play with those 4k and expect to lose it. If you lose it, no worries you have a nice 50k still and maybe with a few rains and some weekly challenge etc you can continue or if you don't use a 5k or whatever comfortable amount you feel - but always use that with no strings attached. If you win great!! If at any point you get sad/upset when you lose, you better stop, because it only multiplies - both your sadness and the loss amount (which occurs most of the time). It increases progressively and that's how we end up busting usually. I am playing slow rn and seems to work atm and since I'm busy too it's actually helping me not bust
Burgerwcheese Posted July 5, 2019 #5 Posted July 5, 2019 Gambling for long period for normal gamblers is not really a good thing because the only beneficiary of it are the gambling site owners. And it is really hard to believe that a gambler is going to win often times. But what is happening is that gamblers are just losing daily rather than winning no matter how long they have been gambling. When people aren't in the moment, they tend to decide that when they lose money they should bet less in the next round of betting. However, when they actually lose, "the resulting negative emotion makes them overreact"? and they bet even more I have no illusions that I can "beat the house." But, it isn't the minor odds advantage that makes losers out of most gamblers. It is the fact that the house never stops playing, while the player eventually runs out of money. If you have done any gambling, or even think about it rationally, you can see that a gambler's financial stake fluctuates over the course of a game. If you play long enough, you will likely hit a low point at or close to $0. This is often the only stopping point many gamblers have. It is like selling low in the stock market. If, on the other hand, the player has another stopping rule, such as, an arbitrary amount of time (where the free music comes into play!) or at a certain level of winning, then there is the chance to quit while the player is ahead. After all, the only way to win money at a casino is to quit while you are winning. For some reason, this obvious bit of wisdom eludes most gamblers.
Enzo Posted July 5, 2019 #6 Posted July 5, 2019 Like burgerwcheese said, unless your deposit size is quite large, you're likely going to bust everytime. Most people don't have the discipline (myself included) to work a small balance into something. Hell, I tipped my friend 100 doge and he ripped it in 2 seconds. I can make 100 doge at least 500 with relative ease. It's all about the person and there style of betting.

I would be very angry ... angry ... with myself ... merh with the people around me ... but ... it only lasts for a moment ... just minutes. when I realized ... when my emotions began to recede ... I believed myself that it happened because of my carelessness ... my greed ... since then, I promised myself I would not repeat the incident ... it would not ... I started to introspect myself ... why and why am I too emotional in betting ... I hope this incident will not happen again
Kate Posted July 5, 2019 #8 Posted July 5, 2019 Umm i dont feel that much of a pain or sorrow because i just play here for fun and not to win but i do feel a bit like sad that is like 5% because it is what we lost but eh.
FotisNt Posted July 5, 2019 #9 Posted July 5, 2019 Well, I always bust, that means that even if I win, I'll bust half the profit anyways. There are many days that I busted profits which I made out of long runs I was doing overnight and stuff. Actually, I don't do weird stuff when I'm pissed of losing, just getting over it fast and going for a walk or buying drinks. 🤷🏻♂️
bmg Posted July 5, 2019 #10 Posted July 5, 2019 After I bust which is all the time . I pout about it for a while or curse out the game lol or throw my mouse on a rare occasion. But that's a part of gambling you have to expect to bust.
jinz Posted July 5, 2019 #11 Posted July 5, 2019 I don't play much anymore so I don't bust often, but when I bust it is big lol. I tend slap my face when I bust a huge amount since I am not a loaded player. I feel sad of course. Who in the right mind would be happy when they experience busting.
barbaris Posted July 5, 2019 #12 Posted July 5, 2019 After losing, I'm in a bad mood for a while, but it's an hour or two. Then I calm down and leave and come back the next day to start over. I do not break anything else, because it only comes out more expensive for me.
jualid Posted July 5, 2019 #13 Posted July 5, 2019 Well it's very often lol, mostly is not because of stupid things but because of greedy like when i'm in profit, i want more and ended with busted all my balance.
3kpk3 Posted July 5, 2019 #14 Posted July 5, 2019 Lol. Almost every single time. Even if I choose favorable odds, I still end up losing due to the useless RNG and the house edge. One time, I literally clicked on the same mine thrice in a row(1 mine and the rest were diamonds).
Computer Posted July 5, 2019 #15 Posted July 5, 2019 yes i always end off with losses usually get like 10 to 20 reds in a row for getting 2x after that i do stupid things in stake chat.😂
cryptofly Posted July 5, 2019 #16 Posted July 5, 2019 Since the Stake 2.0 came to light, I have stop to be busted to zero balance. I have been quite "nerd" about my limits on both, winning and losing. It has been very difficult to me when one of those two limits shows very fast because then, the my time in Stake is reduced and I like to gamble here very much. Community is awesome. Good luck.
lupandina Posted July 5, 2019 #17 Posted July 5, 2019 I'm usually just asking myself loud: "and when, Dina, you will learn the lesson, that it always will end like this?" Till next time 😂
S1MPL3X Posted July 5, 2019 #18 Posted July 5, 2019 omg guys look at this article about what this guy lost holy shit ;c Hello, I'm Adam. I've just signed up to this site after advice from Katie on the live chat. I've been gambling since I was probably 13/14. Slot machines are my thing. I would go to the arcade at dinner time when I went to school, or into town on the weekends to spend all my pocket money. I guess I graduated to more serious money when I left school and got a job in a pub glass collecting. I'd be happy to lose 20, 30 quid on the bandit even if that was a big percentage of my wages. As I got older I was promoted to the bar and eventually assistant steward. As the position went up, the wages went up, the gambling went up. The inclusion of a £1 a spin machine at work proved too tempting and I was regularly losing hundreds. More recently I'd signed up to Betfred to try my hand at gambling away from work. Once again, video slots were my thing. Started easy with £2 a spin, but it gradually grew and grew. £10 a spin, £20, £40. Soon I was losing £100 with every spin of the reels. I recently lost £11,000 from a£17,000 life savings account. I was destroyed. So imagine my delight when I managed to win and build it back up to £20,000. That should of been the end of it. But for the fact I'm here, we all know it wasn't. I lasted roughly 1 week before I was gambling again. £100 a spin. I lost £11,500 over a week or so. I lost the final £8,500 in around 20 minutes yesterday. I'm absolutely mortified to say the least. I've no idea where to go from here. That money was supposed to go towards a new house next year. This is where my problems lie. I can't bare the thought of telling my parents who have basically wiped my arse for 30 years. It's all going to come out eventually when I try to get a mortgage and they check my financial history. Further still, my girlfriend who has always struggled financially, will never understand. She's thousands in debt herself, so she'll never be able to come to terms with me losing £8,000 in 20 minutes. I just can't face them. I'm basically eyeing up as much stuff in my possession that I have to sell. Try and claw some of it back. If I saved £200 of my wages every week, I'll get it back in about 100 weeks. That's just never going to happen. I think I'm going to have to settle into this depression...
nattekut Posted July 5, 2019 #19 Posted July 5, 2019 I bust 99% of my deposits but I do not feel bad about it. I consider all money deposited on a casino gambling platform like stake as lost. Not that I do not belief I can win cause I hit some nice multipliers in the past but I think only a few fortunate people will end up in profits on long term. Cause in the end the house always takes his win. So I really do not believe you can become profitable when playing casino games. the only persons that can be profitable are those who are lucky to hit some huge multipliers once in while that instantly boosts their balance and are clever enough not to bust their winnings afterwards
Etude Posted July 5, 2019 #20 Posted July 5, 2019 Oh I bust pretty much all the time except for when I am on a winning streak but even that most of the time eventually ends lol. I usually try to calm myself down after the bust and try to reflect on what happened but often at the same time I also felt so angry about it.
kayke94 Posted July 5, 2019 #21 Posted July 5, 2019 yup everytime i depo here i bust, well its not just here its everywhere i depo i totally bust out, this is because i cant control my selves and i keep telling myselves just withdraw it you dumbass, and then still end up busting. mostly when i busted out i just go and facepalm myselves or just curse the whole time
CntryBoy Posted July 5, 2019 #22 Posted July 5, 2019 I am sure that all players have busted numerous times at Stake. The worst thing I've done is redeposit after playing recklessly and busting. For me, it is good for me to take a break after playing high risk and busting. Usually if I redeposit right away, those funds end up going where the original funds went as well.

I guess thats the worst option after a big bust, most times at least.

I am a fully evolved gambling girl. I gamble. I like it. I play a lot. Shame shame. I confess that often when I bust... I busted AFTER a great win. Those are the busts that hurt the most. Otherwise, I try to keep it in a budget so I make room for the potential for loss. I consider the amount I play to be lost as I start to play then when I win its a really cool treat. If only I cashed the treats out more often. LOL
artizykristy Posted July 6, 2019 #25 Posted July 6, 2019 not much but I was very upset when bust, because this made me a little angry and thought how stupid I was ... I have never done anything stupid at most when bust only felt sorry, at least I just typed !Bonzo in chat
