SammyA123 Posted July 5, 2019 #1 Posted July 5, 2019 It seems the password strength requirements for stake.com are different from forum.stake.com. This caused some confusion for a referral who wanted to use the same password on both sites when I was helping him to get setup. I understand its better to use a different password on every site, however, many people still dont do that. My suggestion is to make the password strength requirements the same for both stake and the forum to avoid confusion for newbies when they sign up. If its possible, someday I would like to see an option for a merged login for users that would like it so they dont have to login twice to two separate accounts.

Its been a while, how are you? So password strength refers to the minimum requirements required to be able to use your password on a website. Some websites allow you to use only UPPERCASE and lowercase letters, plus numbers. Other sites force you to add a special character to your password like one of these @#$%(* Stronger passwords usually have all 4 of these built into them, such as Uppercase, Lowercase, numbers and special characters. The point of my original post was the password strength requirements on Stake.com and the forum are different from each other. For some newbies when they sign up, this may cause confusion, especially since when securing your account with 2FA you have to enter your password. It took me and my referral almost 40 minutes to get his stake and forum accounts setup and secured as the 2FA kept changing before he could paste 2FA along with typing his password.
zulfandina Posted July 5, 2019 #4 Posted July 5, 2019 everywhere passwords are confidential ... and individual ... right ... there are still many out there who make their passwords from all the sites they follow with the same password ... even though it's very dangerous ... it's good to make passwords vary on each site ... and if possible, try changing the password every week ... it will still maintain the security of your account ... indeed, if seen at a glance the password is considered very trivial or not very influential ... but when someone is hacked ... then realize the meaning of the password ... Too bad ... rice has become porridge ...
FotisNt Posted July 9, 2019 #5 Posted July 9, 2019 Nice suggestion there! I would also like to see a 2FA at forum.

kiziah Posted July 17, 2019 #7 Posted July 17, 2019 It`s nice suggestion, but i used same password in all my account.. stake, forum stake, primedice even facebook. :< Coz i always forget the password that i put in account hahaha i know its dangerous but i`m the only one that knows that so for me its okay Its cool suggestion tho i hope stake staff will read about your post and make it possible Sharing is caring right? thanks for sharing your cool suggestion
vijaypondini Posted July 17, 2019 #8 Posted July 17, 2019 Clearly the password requirements are different because accessing your actual stake account from your forum account is entirely different. Your gambling account should be safe!
