How Races Could be Improved

So a couple things about the races here aren't making much sense to me and I have some ideas on how they could be Improved.

1. Too many places: I think 100 places for the races is way too many given the prize amount. What's the point of say 100th place giving a prize of .25 ripple when Eddie/Steve are raining more than that during the race? I'm using the $1000 race because that's the only one I can participate in given the time. I think it would make much more sense to just have less prize places but with larger prizes.

2. Hidden Bets: I don't like that many people on the race list are hidden users since a very wealthy person could just use alt accounts to scoop up a bunch of prizes. I know hidden is a good feature for people who don't want to be bothered, but I think you should have to not be hidden as a prerequisite to participate in the race. Some very wealthy users I imagine don't even know or care about the race prize since they're already wagering tons with or without the race. I'm not sure stake even cares about the alt accounts thing since they would still making money on those users regardless.

 

What do you guys think of these ideas? Good or bad? And do you have other ideas on how the races could be Improved?

There even could be same rule applied, as for rains. Hidden = no place in races.

I also see no point in racing for 100 places because we risk a lot more money for a couple of dollars or even less. Any races always end the same way and people who are ready to put dozens of bitcoins are always in the top. I stopped racing at all since I lose more than I get.

I completely agree with both of these points as far as the races are concerned.  The number of places paid should be based on the prize pool size, not just paying out 100 places on every race, regardless of the prizes.  It would make more sense to pay out less spots, giving players a chance at bigger prizes.  Also it does not make sense to me that, let's say first place pays out 2.2 LTC as it has a few times recently and the first place player wagered 3000 LTC to win those 2.2 LTC.... the rakeback they made on their 3000 LTC wager is 3 LTC, so the rake back they receive is greater than their first place prize?  As far as the Hidden players... I'm not sure that really makes a difference to Stake, as they are making profits on all players regardless if they play as Hidden or not.  But it would be nice to be able to see those names just for the heck of it...

I think top 100 paid is quit Good. Lets day they decreased the amount if winners to 10 then 99% of stake players Will never get rhe opportunity to win som sort of prize. 

MIT is meqrly impossible for most people to wager 0.5btc or more which in most cases is necessary to end in the top 10 of the contest

I think the prizes for 100 winners/places is actually quite ideal given that the amount of participants and the pacing of the Races. 

Hmm and in regards to the Hidden player to not be included might be a little bit unfair to the High Rollers but it certainly does not seem feasible to Stake to prevent them from joining the Races either just because they prefer to have their privacy settings enabled.

make all participant all start at an even amount,. the only way to have a refill on bankroll is on rains or rakebacks... make all the races interesting and a chance for everyone to have a shot at the top prizes..is really unfair to see the sane people on top., to be honest that's what you call a race to the top.. and last man or woman standing get the top prize. because really the race is for show.. how just betting 1.2 every single bet. lets see who really plays smart.. i even bet the top players that usually up there wont get pass a normal player. that's a race im willing to participate in.,. and not just watch everyone knowing they wont have the balance to be at top 5,,

I agree with you on both points. I think anything after position number 10 is really not worth it. Hidden bets should not be allowed, because it could simply be an alt, or someone from Stake trying to change the results.

hello friends its true for a small amount of prizes , we bet bigger amount wager in participate in race.last few races i loses so many only for completed races .

here one they can improve on,, why not have everyone play on even footing,, let everyone start wit the same amount,, make it a real race, where you can see how a player really build up their bankroll then the rest.. see who actually playing smarter.. what so smart playing limbo or dice where the highest x is 1.2x, and with  all or half of their bankroll.. give everyone 100k to play with.. and the only way to reload their bankroll is through rain and rakeback... i bet there is someone that can make that 100k grow and last till the very end.. lets see who really has skills in this races.,, i would like to see a race like that or even a challenge., challenging on player vs player.. who can build up what ever amount they are given.,. with a time limit.. who ever made the most of their bankroll wins within an hour. with the prize 4x they made.,.

i think no need to inporve to race, but some lagging happen during at race. not sure need inporve to my connection is low that time or coz of site. if coz of site should inporve gameplay during these times.

I think the race is quite good at this point in time. But, I also think they should add a low-roller race for the low rollers and less wealthy users. Otherwise I think it is a bit pay to win lol. 

You definitely need at least 65$ to become anywhere decent in the race In my opinion. And you then still hardly receive anything compared to your wager amount... So yeah

Yes you have a point, but not everyone in hidden while in races is having Alts on. They might be affected by this, and what they just want is to gamble in peace, and they don't have any intention to get huge prizes with alts.

I think they just have to make the races, one slot per IP address, that could make it fair for everyone of us.

it is true that the condition when participating in a competition is not to hide it will be very good and I as a player also like to know who gets the top 10 warnings, I want to know not to attack pm or be just a little want to know, for me the race is only wasting time and balance I better play normally to look for profit.

I guess I can see both point 😏 f views, with your I agree, I think if they paid less positions it would grant players a half gher reward for the placed positions. 

Looking at it with Stakes point of view they probably pay the top 100 so more layers get a chance to win a prize even if it is a small amount.

@Shaniqua made a good point last week about these races. She mentioned that stake should make a race for the players that don't or can't wagerer the same amounts as the high rollers, who usually always tend to take the top positions. I thought that was a good idea as well.

1. Instead of having 2 races of 1000 usd  in one day they can make it one race of 2000 usd.
2. reduce no of winners to 30  since that will allow ppl to wager more in turn benefit the house'
3. use different coins each day as prize like

• sun race-eth price
• mon race-ltc prize
• tue race -btc prize
• wed race- bch prize
• thurs race- doge prize
• friday race-xrp prize

4.dont give ammo for race (during race specially) better increase vip coupons  amount. ammo wont help anyone to get to top 30
